Request a bluff-side villa on the eastern edge — you want the Atlantic at your ear in the morning and the trade winds through the louvered shutters by afternoon. The rope swing seat at the bar is the only place to be from about four o'clock on; claim it early and let the bartender steer you. Don't miss sunset from the dining terrace — it faces the Sea of Abaco, and the light does something unreasonable around 6:30 that no camera will capture properly. Skip organized excursions your first day. Instead, walk to Hope Town, find the waterfront lobster shack with no sign worth mentioning, and eat outside. Ask the inn staff to arrange a bone-fishing morning on the flats — book it before you arrive, as the best guides fill up quietly.

Spectacular location! We've been a number of times and the food is always top notch! We'll have stay in the rooms one of these visits, but all of our experiences have been wonderful!

We only visited the restaurant and bar, and walked on the beach, but this place was wonderful!

This place is great. Tom is an amazing manager, and the staff are super friendly. The food is a little pricey but so is everywhere else on the island. Now there are no tv's in the villas but there is one at the bar. Everything is on island time except for the Ferry.
