What we love about this stay
Request a garden-facing room on an upper floor—the high ceilings and afternoon light through those oversized windows make the space feel almost sculptural, and you'll want that view come golden hour. Grab one of the complimentary bikes early, ideally before ten, and ride the moss-draped route to Monterey Square while the city's still quiet and the azaleas are hitting you in waves. Dinner on-site is worth it at least once, but sit near the garden windows at dusk when the shadows stretch long across the hedgerows—it's genuinely cinematic. After, skip the bar scene and take a glass of something local into the garden. That stillness, with Forsyth Park humming just beyond the walls, is the whole point of staying here.

Perfect stay - would happily stay here again. Loved every part of our stay - the rooms were spacious, modern, beautifully decorated, and clean. The staff were very friendly. The amenities (pool and gym) were excellent. Great location as well.

Bardo is an excellent hotel with exceptional staff. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean Breakfast was excellent! Our delivery person created a beautiful set up display. She really cared about doing things right, being professional and providing excellent service. She deserves recognition for a job well done above and beyond expectations. Only sorry I did not get her name. She both delivered and picked up our breakfast.
