What we love about this stay
Request a room in the original historic house — the bones are more interesting, the ceilings higher, and the balcony views hit differently when framed by century-old architecture rather than a newer wing. Come evening, skip the indoor dining room entirely and claim a terrace table at least forty minutes before sunset. The light off the Praia da Rocha cliffs turns everything amber, and the kitchen's Algarvean seafood cataplana tastes better when you're watching fishing boats drift past below. Mornings, borrow one of the hotel bikes and ride the coastal path toward Portimão marina before the heat sets in — it's flat, empty, and the salt air wakes you up better than any espresso. Difficultés pour y accéder via le gps en raison du sens interdit de la rue.Grande qualité de l'ensemble des prestations servies par du personnel haut de gamme (mise à part une employée de l'accueil ayant eu une attitude inqualifiable avec une de nos invités). Une très belle maison donnant envie d'y revenir.
