The lobby arrives like a statement. Dark surfaces, sculptural lighting, and an atmosphere pitched somewhere between nightclub and gallery set the tone at Bisha Hotel, a design-forward tower in the heart of Toronto's Entertainment District. The property occupies a striking high-rise on Blue Jays Way, its interiors shaped by a collaboration with fashion and nightlife impresario Charles Khabouth. Every floor carries a distinct aesthetic signature, with design contributions from Studio Munge and Lenny Kravitz, whose hand is most evident in the property's top-floor suite, a rock-and-roll penthouse draped in leather, gold, and moody sophistication.
Rooms and suites layer rich textures with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the CN Tower, Lake Ontario, and the sprawling downtown grid. The palette runs dark and warm, with custom furniture, rainfall showers, and a sense of intimacy unusual for a building of this scale. Higher floors open to increasingly expansive views, and select suites include outdoor terraces where the city unfolds beneath you. The effect is less corporate tower, more vertical residence with a pulse.
The rooftop is the property's social anchor. INK Entertainment's rooftop pool and lounge occupies the building's crown, offering an infinity pool that appears to spill into the skyline, flanked by cabanas and a bar scene that shifts from daytime calm to evening energy. Below, Akira Back brings its Japanese-with-Korean-inflections menu to a dramatic dining room where sushi and wagyu share the stage with city views and theatrical plating. For more casual moments, the lobby-level Mr. C serves coffee and cocktails against a moody backdrop, while KOST, the rooftop restaurant, pairs coastal Mediterranean-inspired plates with panoramic sightlines that stretch to the Toronto Islands.
The neighborhood places you at the center of Toronto's cultural momentum. The CN Tower stands minutes away. The Rogers Centre, TIFF Bell Lightbox, and the theatre district are all within walking distance, and King West's restaurant row extends in either direction. The PATH underground network connects you to much of downtown without stepping outside. This is not a retreat from the city. It is a hotel built to match the city's frequency, a place designed for guests who want proximity to everything without surrendering style or privacy.
What stays with you after Bisha is the compression of energy and calm. The rooftop pool at golden hour. The elevator ride from a candlelit dinner to a suite where the skyline glows through glass. Toronto moves fast beneath you, and the hotel never asks you to slow down. It simply gives you a more considered vantage point from which to take it all in.

What we love about this stay
There's a particular confidence to this hotel — it doesn't whisper luxury so much as declare a point of view. Lenny Kravitz's hand in the room design isn't a gimmick; you feel it in the tension between plush textures and bold artistic choices, a space that refuses to play it safe. Sitting squarely in Toronto's entertainment district, it absorbs the neighborhood's restless energy rather than shutting it out. The rooftop, with its pool and panoramic sweep of the skyline — Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena glinting nearby — feels less like an amenity and more like a statement about where the hotel places itself in the city's social landscape. This is a property for people who want their surroundings to have personality, not just thread count.

We recently stayed at Hotel Bisha for 5 nights and can’t wait to come back. The staff is very welcoming and inclusive, and after staying hundreds of nights at Marriott / Starwood properties I give it to the Bisha’s front desk staff for their hospitality and for having the most stylish uniforms. The food and decor is top notch. Beware if you are assigned a room facing the rear of the hotel that you’ll hear trucks beeping most mornings (and slightly later on Saturdays).
