There is a particular kind of arrival that only Beverly Hills can produce. You step through a discreet entrance on South Beverly Drive and into a space that feels both deliberately composed and genuinely inviting. Cameo Beverly Hills occupies a singular position within the Golden Triangle, the coveted stretch of blocks bordered by Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard, and North Canon Drive. The hotel's architecture leans contemporary, with clean lines and warm materiality that resist the spectacle of its surroundings in favor of something more personal. Scale here is intimate. The property operates with just 49 rooms and suites, each designed with understated sophistication and a palette that draws from natural tones, soft metallics, and layered textures. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite light and a sense of connection to the streetscape below, while the interiors maintain a residential ease that feels more curated apartment than conventional hotel.
The ground floor sets the social rhythm. The Living Room serves as a communal gathering space where guests settle in throughout the day, a place designed for lingering rather than passing through. For dining, the hotel's restaurant brings a California-inflected sensibility to the table, emphasizing seasonal ingredients and relaxed, stylish presentations that mirror the property's broader design ethos. The bar offers a more spirited counterpoint, with craft cocktails and a list that rewards both the curious and the decisive. Together, these spaces establish a hospitality that feels attentive but never overproduced.
Beverly Hills itself needs little introduction, but the hotel's positioning within it deserves attention. Rodeo Drive is moments away on foot. The galleries, boutiques, and dining rooms that define the neighborhood are close enough to make the hotel feel like a natural extension of the district rather than a retreat from it. Yet stepping back inside, the shift in tempo is immediate. This is a property that understands the appeal of proximity without noise, of being at the center of one of the world's most iconic luxury corridors while maintaining a sense of privacy and calm.
What stays with you about Cameo Beverly Hills is the proportion of things. The rooms feel generous without being grand. The service is present without being performative. The design is considered without being cold. It is a hotel built for the guest who already knows Beverly Hills and is looking not for spectacle but for a place that matches their own sensibility, somewhere the details land quietly and the feeling of being well taken care of arrives without announcement.

What we love about this stay
There's something quietly theatrical about a hotel that draws on Venetian architecture and sets it down in the middle of Beverly Hills — it shouldn't work, but here it does, with a confidence that feels earned rather than forced. The palette leans into coastal California blues and earth tones, which keeps the interiors from tipping into excess, and those floor-to-ceiling windows give you the kind of wide, layered views — city sprawl meeting rolling hills — that remind you just how cinematic this part of Los Angeles really is. The Cipriani-rooted dining adds a genuine point of view rather than a generic restaurant afterthought, and the poolside bar carries that particular unhurried energy that only a sun-drenched California setting can sustain. It's a place that suits people who want Beverly Hills glamour without the performative edge — where the atmosphere hums rather than shouts.

We were treated like royalty! The staff at Mr. C's Hotel in Beverly Hills treated us like honored guests. Brock Taylor, Trent, and Andrew were particularly helpful and excited to make our stay at this property a "dream come true". The hotel is beautifully decorated in a very modern Italianate fashion and the rooms are large, spacious, airy, and light. The bed is extremely comfortable. This is truly a five-star property.

The Cameo is a tremendous boutique hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills! We are sorry to hear it will be gutted later this year as there is so much charm and beauty there. We just hope that they do not get rid of all the charm and, very importantly, that they do not just throw out the beautiful furniture and many details of the hotel such as the woodworking, doors, hardware, etc. This is not trivial! It was made with beautiful materials and it would be terrible to not find new purposes for it. The Cameo is a special place as is!!!
