The road narrows before you arrive, threading through the pine-covered interior of Ibiza's north, far from the pulse of the island's southern coast. Casa Botanica Hotel sits within this greener, quieter landscape, a small collection of rooms wrapped in Mediterranean gardens where the scent of rosemary and jasmine drifts across stone pathways. The architecture is unmistakably Ibizan: whitewashed walls, natural wood, terracotta, and a sense of openness that dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior. It is the kind of place where the building feels grown from its setting rather than placed upon it.
The property is intimate in scale, with individually designed rooms and suites that draw on the island's artisan traditions while maintaining a clean, contemporary sensibility. Natural textiles, locally crafted ceramics, and muted earth tones create spaces that feel personal rather than decorated. Many rooms open directly onto private terraces or garden views, and the overall layout encourages a slow, unhurried way of moving through the day. At the heart of the property, a swimming pool is surrounded by sun loungers, mature plantings, and the kind of effortless Mediterranean beauty that rewards those who simply stay put. Yoga and wellness offerings complement the atmosphere, grounding the experience in something more intentional than a standard holiday.
Food at Casa Botanica Hotel reflects the island's agricultural character. The restaurant draws on locally sourced, seasonal ingredients with a focus on Mediterranean cooking that feels honest and ingredient-led. Meals are served in a setting that blurs indoors and out, with garden views and candlelit evenings that extend the sensory rhythm of the property. Breakfast here sets the tone for a day without urgency, and dinner becomes the gentle punctuation at its close.
Ibiza's north rewards a different kind of traveler. The coastline nearby is rocky and dramatic, with quiet coves accessible by foot and small villages where local life continues at its own pace. San Miguel, the nearest town, retains its character with a handsome fortified church and a handful of local restaurants. The weekly markets, hiking trails through terraced farmland, and nearby beaches like Benirràs offer reasons to explore, though the pull of the property itself often proves stronger. This is a part of Ibiza that predates the club scene by centuries, and the landscape still feels unbothered by it.
What stays with you after Casa Botanica is the texture of time there. Not the amenities listed or the design choices made, but the way mornings felt longer, the way the garden light shifted through the afternoon, and the quiet conviction that this corner of the island was worth protecting.

What we love about this stay
You notice the shift the moment you step inside the gate — the air thickens with jasmine and something greener, older, and suddenly the world outside feels like the one that's artificial. Casa Botanica doesn't frame nature for you; it lets it run the place. The architecture stays low and deferential, rooms open wide through jalousie shutters to a garden that functions less as scenery and more as source material — for the spa treatments, the daily-changing menu, even the single cut flower left on your turndown tray. That connection between what grows here and what you eat, smell, and feel on your skin is unnervingly seamless. It's the kind of stay that doesn't announce itself as extraordinary until you're somewhere else entirely, measuring every other place against it.

Perfect for us. Just the type of place we like, not too big and reasonably priced Everything about Acacia was brilliant. They staff were all so helpful and friendly. Good English too . We had a room overlooking the pool with a balcony. There were 2 chairs and a table for to sit outside. The room had a fan and air conditioning which was working perfectly. Nice big comfortable bed and a bathroom with a good sized shower and everything else that we needed. The best part was the heated pool which was so relaxing after a day on the beach which was only a few steps from the front door. The had coffee and cold water in the lobby
