The vineyard appears first. Rows of Malbec stretch toward the Andes in clean, deliberate lines, and somewhere between the grapes and the mountains, a low-slung building emerges from the landscape as though it was always part of it. Entre Cielos is a design hotel set on its own vineyard in Luján de Cuyo, one of Mendoza's most celebrated wine-producing districts. The architecture is modern and restrained, with concrete, glass, and wood forming a series of clean volumes that frame the surrounding terrain rather than competing with it. From nearly every angle, the property feels oriented toward the Andes, the cordillera filling the western horizon with a permanence that reshapes your sense of scale.
Accommodations are divided between the main building and a collection of private lofts, each designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, natural materials, and a deliberate minimalism that keeps the landscape at the center of the experience. The lofts offer a more secluded stay, set among the vines with private terraces and outdoor space that blur the line between architecture and vineyard. Throughout, the palette is muted and warm, favoring raw textures and open sight lines over ornamentation.
What distinguishes Entre Cielos most immediately is its hammam, a subterranean Turkish bath that is among the few of its kind in South America. The space unfolds through a sequence of thermal rooms, each at a different temperature and humidity, moving from warm stone chambers to a steam room to a cold plunge, all finished in mosaic tile and soft, diffused light. Treatments draw from Middle Eastern bathing traditions and are offered by appointment. Above ground, the outdoor pool sits among the vines with unobstructed views of the mountains, and a terrace bar provides a gathering point for late-afternoon wine. The property's restaurant, Katharina Bistro, serves a menu rooted in regional ingredients and Argentine cooking, with Malbec from the estate's own vineyard appearing alongside selections from neighboring producers. Meals here tend to happen slowly, often extending into the evening as the light shifts across the Andes.
Luján de Cuyo places Entre Cielos at the heart of Mendoza's wine country, with some of the region's most respected bodegas within a short drive. The area is known for its high-altitude vineyards and the particular character they lend to Malbec, and the property can arrange visits to neighboring wineries, guided tastings, and excursions into the surrounding landscape. The Andes themselves are never far from view, and for those drawn to the mountains, hiking, horseback riding, and seasonal snow activities are all accessible from this base.
The rhythm here is shaped by the vineyard cycle, the movement of light across the mountains, and the slow ritual of the hammam. Entre Cielos is a property where stillness is not incidental but architectural, built into the low ceilings, the warm stone, the open terraces, and the deliberate quiet that settles over the vines each evening.

What we love about this stay
There's something quietly disarming about a place where the air itself sets the tone—lavender and oak meeting you before anyone speaks a word. Entre Cielos sits deep in Luján de Cuyo's Malbec heartland, and the property never lets you forget it: vine-derived spa treatments, vineyard views framing your meals, and a terroir-driven sensibility that threads through every detail without feeling forced. It's not performatively rustic or overly sleek—it occupies a middle ground that feels genuinely considered. The alfresco dining against the vines at dusk feels earned rather than staged, and the spa's connection to the surrounding land gives it an identity most wellness spaces lack. This is a place for the traveler who wants wine country to seep in slowly, not be packaged for them.

Beautiful and understated luxurious property set in a vineyard. Staff here are all *extremely* friendly and personable. They all went out of their way to help or chat with you; helping to make our trip extra enjoyable -- whether it was helping to hire a car, organizing a winery tour, making an excellent espeesso or helping us with laundry. Again, thank you and beautiful calm space.
