beautiful place, did not realize it was not on the water - or at least a water view - chose this rather than Torrey Pines. I think the dining facilities need to be better and some of the reception staff could be more knowledgeable - she was unaware that there was dinner served in two places - although both serve the other's menus

La Estancia is tremendously convenient to UCSD and surrounding biotech. It's a lovely Spanish style hotel with large rooms.
