AUG 2023Pros: I felt like stepping back in time. Not a single detail has been missed in this lovely, comfortable boutique hotel. The bed and bedding made me want to stay tucked in with a good book but the location wants a person to go out and explore. The history of the building and the little touches throughout the hotel make me even more appreciative of the women who came before me that fought for women’s rights. Can’t wait to go back

AUG 2023Pros: I had a wonderful stay at the Guild House, a very charming and thoughtful hotel centrally located in downtown Philadelphia. The decor made me want to cozy up with a book and not leave the hotel but the location was perfect for exploring all areas of the city. I will definitely stay here again and recommend the experience at this unique hotel to anyone seeking accommodations in Philadelphia.

We really would have liked to be able to purchase the book in our room that explains the inspiration, history and women of the Guild House but it is not currently offered/available for sale.

AUG 2023Pros: This is honestly my first review of any establishment I have visited whether it was a hotel, restaurant etc. I never really felt strongly enough about a past experience to take the time to share my thoughts. This place was different for me! From the moment I walked through the doors I could tell so much thought was put into the restoration of this space. The attention to detail and design is like no other place I have stayed. I am not sure how they did it but I felt like I was stepping back in time yet it had a real modern feel! We stayed in The Eliza….so warm and inviting! The bedding/sheets…amazing! The seating area in the room was so cozy, we spent a lot of time there. Oh..the coffee they left for us..AMAZING! You won’t find one of those Keurig machines here! As much as we loved our room I’d have to say my favorite space in the house was the lounge. I could have sat in there for hours!! You have to check this place out for yourself. I guarantee you will leave there excited for your next stay!
