What we love about this stay
Book The Treehouse dinner before anything else — it fills up weeks out, and eating a multi-course meal under mango branches while the hillside goes quiet at dusk is the single best evening on Maui's south shore. For your suite, request one of the upper hillside units facing west; the ocean panorama is wider, and you'll catch the full color shift as the sun drops around 6:30 p.m. in winter. Skip the poolside loungers midday and use the complimentary beach setup instead — it's uncrowded and genuinely private. At The Lanai, grab a table on the far left edge for an unobstructed sunset line. This property rewards you most when you slow down and let the staff orchestrate the details.

If you're looking for the perfect romantic getaway, look no further than Hotel Wailea in Maui. My husband and I recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there, and it exceeded every expectation. The adults-only atmosphere created an inviting and serene environment that was truly refreshing.

Très bel hôtel. Table de restaurant irréprochable mais le personnel de l'accueil ne favorise pas la découverte de l'île. Il ne se positionne pas en tant que force de proposition dans les visites possibles de Maui. On se sent donc un peu contraint de rester à l'hôtel ou dans la zone de Wailea, c'est dommage.

AMAZING!!! Already at the check in we had an amazing experience thanks to wonderful Jessica! We were welcomed with lei’s and champagne. She was so warm and friendly, immediately we felt at home. Every hotel needs a Jessica! The whole venue was beautiful and very well taken care of and we just wanted to move into our room and never leave. It was so beautiful! And very delicious food and drinks, great pool, amazing location.. and so on, and so on.

I thought the property was excellent. The landscape architecture was amazing. The rooms were very nice and the common areas very beautiful and comfortable. We ran into a couple of scheduling issues (which ultimately all worked out) and the concierge did a good job of making us feel welcome. All of the staff made us feel welcome- and you could tell the felt like a team/family.
