What we love about this stay
Request an upper-floor oceanfront room — the balconies face due east, which means you wake to sunrise over the Caribbean without lifting your head from the pillow. That light alone is worth the upgrade. For dinner, Fantino is the move, but ask for the terrace-side table closest to the railing; the indoor seats feel detached from the setting. At the Sushi Bar, go at lunch when the chefs are less rushed and more generous with off-menu omakase-style plates if you show interest. Book a late-afternoon slot at the spa — post-treatment, walk directly onto the private beach around 5:30 when the sand cools and the sky starts turning. Skip the big excursions your first day; the property's own shoreline is quietly one of the best stretches in the hotel zone. Done right, this is a stay that rewards stillness.

We had a wonderful stay at Kempinski Hotel Cancun. The hotel’s elegant architecture and one of the largest beachfronts in the Hotel Zone make it truly special. The pool and beach experience was outstanding. The friendly team welcomes you, provides towels, guides you to the pool or beach of your choice, and sets up sunbeds and umbrellas for you. There is no rush or stress to reserve sunbeds early—there were always plenty available around the giant swimming pool and on the beach. The pool/beach crew is always attentive, regularly checking if you’d like a drink or food, and occasionally serving complimentary snacks or ice cream, which was a lovely touch. We arrived early in the morning and met Ruben, the Client Relationship Manager, who kindly arranged early access to a ready room, allowing us to enjoy the entire day. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a balcony offering a beautiful sea view. Ruben was always around, engaging with guests and ready to help, and all hotel staff were consistently kind, attentive, and professional—clearly reflecting excellent management. Delicious breakfasts and warm, dedicated service made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to return.

Excellent! The beach was beautiful!! Service and cleaning outstanding. We arrived in the evening and we were at the hotel in just 15 minutes. The breakfast was very good and Sunday breakfast even better.
