The approach is striking before anything else registers. A long, low silhouette of concrete and glass stretches along one of the Caribbean's most celebrated beaches, its clean geometric lines a sharp counterpoint to the soft curve of Grand Anse Bay. Silversands is not a property that hides behind tropical foliage or colonial nostalgia. It announces itself as something deliberately modern, a resort built with architectural conviction on a two-mile sweep of white sand along Grenada's southwestern coast. The design is bold and minimal, all polished concrete, open sight lines, and a palette that lets the turquoise water do the talking.
The resort's 43 suites and residences range from one to three bedrooms, each designed with floor-to-ceiling glass, private terraces, and a restrained material vocabulary of stone, wood, and clean white surfaces. Many look directly onto the sea. The layout of the property channels a sense of openness and light, with indoor and outdoor living merging seamlessly. For those seeking more space, the multi-bedroom penthouses and pool residences offer a sense of private estate living within the resort's framework. A 100-meter infinity pool, one of the longest in the Caribbean, anchors the beachfront experience and serves as the property's visual centerpiece, its still surface reflecting the sky in a way that blurs the boundary between water and horizon.
Dining at Silversands draws from the island's agricultural abundance and the surrounding waters. The on-site restaurant offers a menu shaped by Grenadian ingredients, fresh seafood, and seasonal produce, served in a setting that maintains the property's commitment to understated design. A beach bar provides a more casual counterpoint, where afternoons drift between cocktails, sand, and the sound of the water just steps away. The spa offers a menu of treatments in a setting designed for stillness, while the fitness center and water sports programming give more active days their structure. The resort also provides direct access to Grand Anse Beach itself, widely regarded as one of the finest stretches of sand in the entire Caribbean.
Grenada remains one of the less overtraveled islands in the region, known for its volcanic terrain, spice plantations, and a slower, more textured rhythm of life. The capital, St. George's, is a short drive north, its colorful hillside buildings and bustling market offering a vivid contrast to the resort's minimalism. Underwater sculpture parks, rainforest trails, and chocolate and nutmeg estates are all within reach, giving the island a depth that rewards curiosity beyond the beach.
What lingers about Silversands is the clarity of its vision. This is a property that trusts its architecture, its setting, and the natural beauty of its island to carry the experience. There is no excess here, no ornamentation competing for attention. Just concrete, glass, sand, and sea, composed with the kind of confidence that makes everything else feel unnecessary.

What we love about this stay
Silversands feels like a property that knows exactly what it is — modern and sleek against a backdrop that's anything but minimal. The design leans into clean lines, natural wood, and stone, but it never competes with the beachfront setting; it frames it. There's a quietness to the scale here that suits Grenada's unhurried personality, where the proximity to St. George's keeps things grounded in island life rather than sealed off from it. The dining at Asiatique hints at a kitchen with real point of view, blending local ingredients with broader ambition. What lingers is the sense that this isn't a resort trying to impress you — it's one that trusts its surroundings to do most of the talking.

The resort was everything I imagined—and more. After seeing the ad on TikTok and reading the glowing reviews, I was sold and knew I had to experience it for myself. I’d like to give special recognition to the following staff members who went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable: Merrick, Laurence, Becky, Sabrina, Vadie, Rehanna, Saskia, and Cashmir. (I didn't get the names of two additional ladies, they are usually together and one is from Egypt as they too deserve recognition). A heartfelt thank you to each of you for your outstanding customer service. Your warmth and professionalism made this experience an absolute joy for both my better half and me. We’re incredibly grateful!
