We went as a family. My parent, my sister, her husband, my daughter (5 years old), and my husband. We rented a minivan and had an awsome time. We averaged 3-4 vineyards a day. I recomend doing 1/2 small wineries. They were more pleasant. We stommped grapes, went on a balloon ride, Nappa Valley train ride and ate lots of great food. Everyone of all ages had a great time. My daughter and the grandparents got tired. So they went to the house for nap while we hit more vinyards. The house rental worked out well, too. VBOR.com.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit this city, go, go, go! The wineries are amazing, the restaurants are to die for (check my other reviews for a few of them) and the scenery is breathtaking. It is very easy to get around town. Warning though... they have red light cameras in this city. We got nailed by one and the ticket would have been about $350 but it never got sent to us as I believe it is b/c we were tourists from Canada. We just got a letter and fee from the car rental agency stating that the Napa police dept. had requested our contact information. Be careful, the lights are very short. You should allow at least 3 nights, preferably more. We would have no problem spending a week there! Go and enjoy this amazing place. I wish I didn't live 3,000 away! :(

We stayed here for our 19th anniversary and had a wonderful stay! We stayed in room 204. The room is cozy and well updated. The house itself is stunning! From the exterior to the interior, everything has been tastefully decorated and updated. The breakfast buffet served was great. Lots of variety from egg dishes, breakfast meats and fresh fruit to bagels and pastries.The staff was so helpful and accommodating! I highly recommend The George if you're looking for a quiet couple's getaway for your trip to Napa! -The Haddads
