What we love about this stay

Appellation is the real reason to come: request a table by the windows at sunset, when the light over Marananga turns copper, and let the sommelier lead your pairings rather than choosing off the list. They know which small-batch Barossa wines never leave the valley. Skip organised tours and instead drive yourself to the smaller cellar doors along Seppeltsfield Road in the morning before crowds arrive. An exquisite way to savour the best of the Barossa An exquisite way to enjoy the Barossa. Wonderful location, walking distance to several cellar doors, and short drive to infinitely more. Beautiful views of the vines from each room & Apellation. Lovely rooms, with fireplaces & heating/cooling. Fabulous food included at Apellation for breakfast & dinner, with wine pairings showcasing the best of the area. Staff so helpful & friendly.

All we can say is wow. From our arrival to our departure we were so well looked after. Staff so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Can not recommend enough. Cannot help but feel that everyone working there is invested in the success of the hotel and in providing the guest with a fantastic holiday experience. In house restaurant Appellation with great food and pairing wine added to the whole experience. Walking distance to great small businesses and wineries with open cellars. Apartment spacious and lots of lovely touches.
