Imagine a retreat where time slows down, allowing you to savor each moment amid the tranquility of Pennsylvania's rolling countryside. Welcome to Home in Paradise, a meticulously renovated 1900s brick haven that promises not just a stay, but a journey into a more serene way of life. Here, luxury and simplicity blend seamlessly beneath the expansive skies of Paradise, Pennsylvania.
As you step onto the wraparound porch, the gentle creak of rocking chairs invites you to sit back and breathe in the fresh, country air. Each breath carries the subtle scent of freshly cut grass and the soothing aroma of nearby pine trees, setting a tone of natural elegance. The porch, overlooking lush greenery, offers a vantage point to witness the quiet daily life of Amish country, with horse-drawn buggies occasionally passing by.
Inside, the Home in Paradise reveals its true character. The living spaces are adorned with a tasteful mix of modern amenities and antique furnishings, each piece telling a story of craftsmanship and care. The heart of the home is the fully-equipped kitchen, where you can prepare meals with locally sourced produce, perhaps even picked up from a nearby Amish market. The dining area, with its large windows, bathes every meal in golden sunlight.
The master bedroom is a sanctuary of its own. Step out onto your private balcony each morning and let the serene views of the countryside invigorate your senses. The en-suite Jacuzzi adds a touch of indulgence to your private space, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. For a more social relaxation, the outdoor hot tub under the stars offers a warm embrace as the cool evening air descends.
Evenings at Home in Paradise are best spent around the fire pit, where stories and laughter mingle with the crackling of the flames. The patio, with its comfortable lounge furniture, invites long conversations under the canopy of the night sky, punctuated by the distant sounds of nature.
Beyond the comforts of the home, Paradise offers a tapestry of experiences. Explore local Amish farms, quaint bakeries, and artisan workshops. Each encounter provides a glimpse into a lifestyle driven by community and simplicity. Whether it's learning about traditional quilting techniques or savoring homemade shoofly pie, each moment here connects you deeper with this unique cultural landscape.
Home in Paradise is more than just a place to stay. It is a place to be transformed, a rare opportunity to simplify your life and reconnect with what truly matters. As you pack to leave, you'll find yourself carrying more than just your belongings—you'll take a piece of Paradise's peaceful spirit with you.

Head straight for the master balcony your first morning—before coffee, before anything. The light over the fields around seven a.m. has that low, golden quality that makes the whole countryside look painted. Stock up on supplies at one of the Amish roadside stands before you settle in; the produce is incomparably fresh and the baked goods disappear by midday. Save the outdoor hot tub for after dark—no light pollution means the stars are genuinely startling here. Evenings belong at the fire pit, but resist the urge to plan too much. The real magic of this house is how quickly you stop reaching for your phone and start noticing the sound of a buggy on the road, the pine in the air, the slowness you didn't know you needed.

Landon is a fantastic host with amazing homes! My group was throughly impressed with the home and its amenities- including the extremely reasonable price. We appreciate Landon giving us so many recommendations of fun activities for us to do, we will definitely be booking with him again in the future!

Landon's house was a great stay. Exactly as described and pictured, the house is big but cozy. The basement is a full second living area for watching TV and hanging out. The backyard offers the hot tub, fire pit, and full size table and chairs for quality time outside. There is also a huge beautiful balcony facing the back. And it's close to everything in town. Landon was super helpful and proactive about communicating - although we didn't need them much because we had no issues at all. Also, it was great that we didn't have to do anything extra to check out - no bringing the trash to a dump or mopping the floor. All in all we had an awesome stay. Would rent again!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful historic home! We were there for a family reunion and the space was ideal for multiple family members. We loved the comfy living room/kitchen/dining room for hanging out together, eating (the kitchen is very well-stocked with cooking supplies), watching TV, and playing games. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. This was a great spot to enjoy the sight of Amish buggies and surrounding farms and fields while being only a short 20 minute drive to Lancaster's museums and restaurants.

Great place to see Amish country! Right in the heart of the area, nice house, well stocked and spacious. We used the hot tub and the firepot, great place to see the sunset. Buggies pass by the front door frequently.
