We spent four amazing days at this lovely AirBnb. Plenty of space for three couples. Very private, and loved the proximity to Pappy & Harriet's! Beautiful stargazing, and plenty of shaded outdoor space to hang out even in the summer!

The approach feels deliberate. A clean-lined residence set against the sun-bleached terrain of Scottsdale, where the architecture doesn't compete with the landscape but quietly mirrors it. Dragonfly by Fieldtrip is a curated vacation home that operates with the sensibility of a boutique hotel, designed for guests who want space, privacy, and a property that feels considered in every detail. From the moment you step inside, the interiors read as intentional: warm textures, modern furnishings, and a palette that echoes the desert tones just beyond the windows. This is not a conventional rental. It is a residence styled and managed by Fieldtrip, a hospitality brand that treats each of its homes as a standalone experience.
The property centers around its resort-style pool, a generous outdoor space that functions as the heart of daily life here. Whether you arrive in the sharp heat of a Scottsdale summer or the mild clarity of a desert winter, mornings and afternoons tend to organize themselves around the water. The surrounding outdoor areas are furnished for lounging, dining, and the kind of unhurried conversation that only happens when there is nowhere else to be. Inside, the living spaces are open and flowing, with a fully equipped kitchen designed for guests who want to cook with local ingredients or simply prepare something light between outings. Bedrooms are thoughtfully appointed, each offering the kind of quiet comfort that makes late mornings feel earned rather than indulgent.
Scottsdale itself provides a compelling backdrop. The city's best dining, galleries, and trailheads sit within easy reach, and the surrounding Sonoran Desert offers hiking and outdoor exploration that ranges from casual to ambitious. Old Town Scottsdale delivers a mix of restaurants, shops, and cultural venues, while the broader area rewards those willing to drive a little farther with striking desert vistas and regional character. The property's location allows you to move between these experiences at your own speed, returning each evening to a home that feels genuinely private.
What stays with you after a visit to Dragonfly by Fieldtrip is not a single moment but a rhythm. The slow warmth of a desert morning by the pool, the cool interior of a well-designed home as the afternoon light shifts, the particular stillness that settles over the property once the sun drops below the horizon. It is a place that asks very little of you and, in doing so, gives back something generous.

It's the quality of quiet that gets you — not silence as absence, but silence as something the high Mojave actually gives you, a presence you have to slow down enough to receive. Dragonfly by Fieldtrip understands that distinction intuitively. The design never competes with the landscape; sun-bleached wood, brushed concrete, and sage-toned linen feel less like a style choice and more like a conversation with the desert. The pool reads almost surreal against all that ochre and tan, and at night, with virtually no light pollution, the sky opens into something that genuinely reframes the act of looking up. This is a property built around the Fieldtrip idea that travel should feel less like escape and more like arrival — and by your last evening, that philosophy stops being a concept and starts feeling like something lodged in your nervous system.

What a beautiful home and grounds! Spacious and big windows allowing for lots of natural light. The pool and hot tub were perfect for us to relax and stargaze.

Beautiful property and super comfy and clean beds. My family had an amazing time and made memories. The pool table room was fun and the pool was cold which is exactly what we needed in the desert heat. Possibly the best sunset I’ve ever seen. 5 stars. We’d definitely stay here again.

The home was absolutely stunning. The location was private and spectacular. The aesthetics and attention to detail through the home were breathtaking. The architecture and layout was incredible. Every space had a purpose whether it was to entertain or to meditate you could do it all. Absolutely blown away by the well thought out layout and color scheme and overall technology all through the home. By far the BEST experience I’ve ever had using AirBnb
