We had a great stay with extended family. I was worried about the 3 separate apartments but they're closely connected and the main floor has enough space for everyone to gather. Lots of options within walking distance.

There is a particular feeling that comes with arriving at a house large enough to hold your entire group and finding that it actually wants you there. This Portland residence, managed by Stay Portland, is an eight-bedroom property designed to accommodate up to sixteen guests across a generous layout where togetherness and privacy coexist without compromise. The scale is immediately apparent, but so is the warmth. This is not a sprawling house that leaves you searching for one another. It is a home built around shared spaces, where the kitchen counter becomes the gathering point and the living areas invite the kind of unhurried conversation that only happens when no one needs to be anywhere else.
The bedrooms are spread thoughtfully throughout the property, offering enough separation for families traveling with children, friend groups with varying sleep schedules, or multigenerational gatherings where grandparents and teenagers need their own corners of the world. With eight bedrooms and the capacity for sixteen, Perfect for Groups & Families delivers on its straightforward promise. The common areas carry the real character of the home. Generous living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen suited for group meals, and enough seating and surface area to support the beautiful chaos of a large party all contribute to a property that functions as well as it feels.
Portland provides the backdrop, and it is a generous one. The city's neighborhoods reward exploration on foot, with independent coffee roasters, restaurants, breweries, bookstores, and parks woven into a walkable urban fabric that feels distinct from other Pacific Northwest cities. Whether your group prefers a day spent browsing the food cart pods, hiking Forest Park, or splitting into smaller factions with different agendas entirely, the city accommodates without requiring much planning. The house becomes the place you return to, the place where the day's stories are traded over a shared meal or a drink on the couch.
What stays with you after a trip like this is rarely the city itself. It is the house. The late-night kitchen conversations. The morning when someone made coffee for everyone before the rest of the group stirred. A residence like this does not try to impress. It simply provides the room, and you fill it with the thing you came for.

What strikes you first is the scale of togetherness this place allows — eight bedrooms across three distinct units, each with its own kitchen, which means a large group can genuinely live here without stepping on each other's rhythms. It has the bones of a proper Portland home, not a hotel trying to feel residential, and that difference matters. The design leans contemporary and clean, flooded with natural light, and the spaces flow between communal and private in a way that lets a reunion or a friend trip breathe. You cook when you want, gather when you feel like it, and retreat when you don't. The backyard becomes the evening's anchor — a place where the group reconvenes without anyone orchestrating it. It's that rare property where the architecture of the stay itself encourages connection without forcing it.

Clean, comfortable, and as described in listing. We had a large group and appreciated the common area and also having our private space. There was no large table to eat together so we brought along a folding table for meals. Also enjoyed the large front porch for our Happy Hour. Location was a safe and peaceful neighborhood for walking and a quick drive or bus ride (we caught a bus across the street for a 20 minute ride) to downtown. Aaron was a very attentive and accommodating host, and provided a very pleasurable stay. A gem!

We couldn’t have found a more perfect space for us to stay during our wedding weekend! We had a couple girls in the group who were pregnant, so it worked out perfectly for them to have their own space in a private apartment. All three spaces were very clean upon arrival and decorated so cute! We did not have any problems finding parking near the house throughout the weekend, and the neighborhood felt very safe. We had explored a few different options of where to stay, and we are so happy we decided on this one! Thank you Aaron for hosting us on such a special weekend!

Amazing stay, was able to accommodate 10 adults and 2 kids comfortably in one space. Aaron was super responsive and extremely helpful to make sure we had the right things organized for our stay. Would highly recommend this place to everyone with a large group!
