Stunning place, definitely recommended !

Carbon Beach carries a reputation that precedes it. Known colloquially as Billionaire's Beach, this narrow stretch of Malibu coastline has long attracted those who understand that proximity to the Pacific is its own form of wealth. SA Beach #4 at SA Beach Suites sits directly on this storied sand, a private residential suite where the ocean is not a view but a companion, present in every room, every hour, every shifting shade of light across the water.
The suite itself is designed for living rather than simply staying. Floor-to-ceiling windows face the sea, dissolving the boundary between interior space and the beach just beyond. The layout is generous and residential in character, with a full kitchen, spacious living areas, and the kind of unhurried proportions that invite you to settle in rather than pass through. Step outside and you are on the sand, with direct beach access that makes the Pacific feel less like a destination and more like an extension of your living room. The furnishings are clean and contemporary, calibrated to let the setting do the work. This is not a property that competes with its surroundings. It yields to them.
Malibu's particular stretch of coastline rewards those who slow down. The drive along Pacific Coast Highway reveals farm stands, cliffside restaurants, and surf breaks that locals guard quietly. Carbon Beach sits in the heart of Malibu proper, within easy reach of Nobu, Malibu Pier, and the winding trails of the Santa Monica Mountains. But the pull of this location is centripetal. Once you arrive, the impulse to leave fades quickly. Morning coffee with the sound of waves breaking a few feet from your door. An afternoon reading on the deck while surfers trace lines across the horizon. The rhythm here is set by tides, not itineraries.
SA Beach #4 belongs to the Stay Awhile collection, a curated portfolio of residential properties in sought-after locations. The approach is deliberately understated: no front desk, no concierge hovering at your elbow, just a beautifully maintained private space and the freedom to occupy it on your own terms. For those accustomed to the choreography of luxury hotels, the absence of performance is itself a luxury. What remains is the thing that drew you here in the first place: the beach, the light, the ocean air filling every room, and the rare privilege of calling one of Malibu's most coveted stretches of sand your own, even if only for a few nights.

There's a particular quietness to staying directly on Carbon Beach — not silence exactly, but a kind of soft insistence from the ocean that reshapes your attention. The suites here lean into that feeling rather than competing with it: neutral tones, floor-to-ceiling glass, and a design restraint that lets the Pacific do the talking. It's the kind of place where the line between indoors and shore dissolves, where a few barefoot steps put you on one of Malibu's most private stretches of sand. The intimacy is the point — this isn't a scene, it's a retreat that earns its stillness. What lingers is how little you need beyond the view and the sound of the water pulling you toward rest.

Right on the ocean was expected, but the beach disappears during high tide. Was quiet for being right on the PCH but that is Malibu. Staff was responsible and fixed a minor issue as soon as the daytime staff arrived. All-round good stay...
