What we love about this stay
Cannonborough is the quieter, more residential side of Charleston's peninsula — and that's exactly why this works. You're close enough to King Street to walk to dinner at FIG or Halls Chophouse (book both well ahead), but far enough to actually sleep with the windows cracked. Mornings here are the move: the light through those tall front windows hits differently before nine, especially with coffee from Second State on your way back. If you're splitting the house with another couple, claim the bedroom at the back — it's the most private and stays coolest. Skip driving to Folly Beach on weekends; go midweek when parking isn't a battle. The real charm is coming home after a long night on Upper King and sinking into a house that feels genuinely lived-in, not staged.

Very lovely space with very spacious bedrooms. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the there was plenty of common space. Very light and bright. Great location!
