What we love about this stay
Set your alarm for the first hint of light — the sunrise from that elevated deck, plunge pool steaming in the cool Hill Country morning air, is the single best moment here and worth every lost minute of sleep. Bring your own good coffee beans for the Chemex; the ritual of a slow pour while watching the tree canopy wake up is genuinely meditative. Skip dining out your first night and cook on the Blackstone griddle instead — the solitude at altitude is the whole point. Walk down to meet Elvis and Presley, the resident mini cows, late afternoon when the light goes golden and they're most curious. Great stay overall! Ac works great and the view is great from your bed! Cell reception is spotty. Not too far of a drive into local towns. Wish we had more time to explore so definitely do two days!

What a wonderful place to retreat from the everyday! I was looking for a spot to both disconnect and relax, and Sabi fulfilled on all that! It was a great place to get away that was both stress-free and remote (but not too remote!). Sam and Stephen (and Tom!) were also great hosts -- they were very communicative and helpful during both the reservation and upon arrival. <br/>I really enjoyed my stay at Missing (and in the Sabi pod specifically) and look forward to returning again later this year!

My husband and I had the best time in Sabi for our mini honeymoon. The location was quiet and beautiful. Even though it was late July, the AC worked well and the plunge pool was fantastic. We will come back soon!
