Beautiful place. Beautiful views. Great location.

The road narrows and the terrain opens. Past the main lodge, past the communal gathering spaces and the pool that catches afternoon light, you arrive at something that feels distinctly yours. Abode at Stag Lodge is a private residence set within a broader lodge community, offering the rare combination of a fully appointed home and access to shared amenities that would otherwise require a resort. It is a property that understands the difference between staying somewhere and settling in.
The residence itself is designed for groups and families who want space without sacrifice. Interiors are mountain-modern in sensibility, with natural materials, generous living areas, and a kitchen built for actual use. Bedrooms are configured for comfort across multiple levels, and the layout allows for both togetherness and retreat. This is not a hotel room dressed up as a home. It is a home that happens to exist within a community built around hospitality. The details reflect that distinction: fireplaces, outdoor space, room to breathe.
What elevates the experience beyond a traditional vacation rental is access to the Stag Lodge amenities. A shared pool and hot tub anchor the communal spaces, and trail access connects the property directly to the surrounding landscape. Hiking and biking routes begin practically at the door, offering a sense of immersion in the natural environment that extends well beyond the property line. The lodge itself serves as a social anchor for guests across the community, a place to gather without leaving the grounds.
Abode at Stag Lodge sits at the intersection of independence and belonging. You have a full residence to call your own, stocked and styled for an extended stay, while the lodge infrastructure provides the kind of ease that comes with having someone else think through the details. Mornings might begin slowly in the kitchen before migrating to the pool. Afternoons might dissolve into a trail run or a quiet hour on the deck. The rhythm here is self-directed but supported, private but never isolated. It is the kind of arrangement that makes you forget you are on vacation and simply lets you feel at home in a place worth returning to.

What strikes you first is the scale of quiet here — not emptiness, but the kind of spaciousness that lets a group of ten breathe without bumping into each other's mornings. The floor-to-ceiling windows don't just frame the Wasatch range, they make the mountains feel like a room you haven't entered yet, shifting mood with every season. There's a thoughtfulness to how the place balances grandeur with warmth — the stone fireplace, the gourmet kitchen that actually invites cooking, the master suite with its soaking tub and private balcony that feels like a deliberate retreat within the retreat. This is a lodge that earns the word: it has the bones of something serious and the softness of somewhere you'd linger long after the skiing ends.

What a beautiful place! The pictures truly don’t do it justice. There was plenty of open space and it felt like we were staying with family. Small touches and elegant decor made it feel like home. The view is phenomenal and I’m sure every season offers a unique majesty.

Beautiful home with an amazing view. Walking distance/short drive to Deer Valley ski resort. The house was appointed with all high end appliances and everything you need for a perfect vacation. The hot tub and balcony had a gorgeous view of the mountains and living room was floor to ceiling windows with amazing mountain views. All bedrooms were large and bathrooms were all on suite and newly renovated. Very cozy home that is perfect for a family vacation.
