The house is very nice and quiet, thank you! 🤩

There's a particular quality to a home that was designed for gathering. Not performance, not spectacle, just the kind of space where people settle in, stretch out, and lose track of the afternoon. Dean Ave delivers exactly that. This is a residential retreat built around its outdoor spaces: a generous screened-in porch, a patio fitted for lingering, and a yard stocked with games that invite the sort of unhurried competition that only happens when nobody's in a rush to be anywhere else.
The house itself is comfortable and well-considered, with enough room for a group to spread out without losing the warmth of proximity. Inside, the living spaces feel open and relaxed, designed for both quiet mornings and louder evenings. The kitchen is equipped for home cooking, which matters here because this is the kind of stay where meals happen on your own terms. Whether it's coffee on the porch before anyone else is awake or a late dinner pulled together from a farmers' market haul, the rhythm of the house bends to yours. Bedrooms are clean-lined and restful, offering the kind of simple comfort that lets you sleep deeply after a full day.
But the real draw at Dean Ave is what happens between the walls and the property line. The screened-in porch acts as the home's true center of gravity, offering a shaded, breezy room that stays comfortable even when the weather turns warm. Beyond it, the patio and yard extend the living space outward, creating distinct zones for grilling, games, conversation, and the kind of aimless sitting that vacations were invented for. It's a layout that rewards groups, families, and anyone who measures a good trip by how little they needed to leave the house.
Managed by BnB Breeze, Dean Ave sits within a neighborhood setting that feels lived-in and genuine rather than staged for visitors. This is a property that doesn't try to be a resort or a boutique hotel. Its appeal is more honest than that. It's a well-kept home with generous outdoor space, thoughtful amenities, and the kind of easy atmosphere that makes you want to come back with the same people next year. The screened porch at golden hour, the sound of yard games drifting through the windows, the particular stillness of a house where everyone has exactly what they need. These are the details that stay with you.

What strikes you about Dean Ave is how naturally it blurs the line between indoors and out — the coastal palette inside echoes the sandy, sun-washed world beyond the walls, and it never feels forced. It's a house that knows it's in Sarasota, with light colors and airy textures that let the place breathe rather than compete with the landscape. The backyard is the real draw: a lush, slightly sprawling space that lends itself to loose afternoons of lawn games and the kind of easy socializing that only happens when a group has room to spread out. By evening, the fire pit on the patio becomes the natural gathering point — no agenda, just proximity and good company. This is a place designed less for solitary retreat and more for the people you actually want to spend unhurried time with, where the best moments happen without a plan.

Great place to stay, our family loved it!

We stayed here for three weeks and it worked perfectly for our needs. The house was clean and had all basic amenities; I loved the inclusion of the beach towels for us to use! It’s located in an Amish neighborhood which meant we were able to enjoy Amish restaurants, bakeries and markets. (The bakery was so fun to explore) It’s a peaceful area and the neighborhood seemed to have lots of families. I appreciated that we got to choose our own temp for the A/C!
We had a problem of a toilet clogging and Landon responded quickly and had it fixed for us that same day! And even with all other issues or needs, he was incredibly helpful and quick to respond.
Sarasota was a beautiful town, everything we could have needed was 20 minutes away! Plenty of beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Check out the farmers market on Saturdays and Detwilers, a locally sourced grocery store. There’s also a great night life in the area, which is only a quick Uber ride away!
Definitely a home away from home

We had great stay at Landon house. Very quite neighborhood, peaceful nights and very close to great bike and walking trail. Also very comfortable furnishings as well. Patio and outdoor spaces are wonderful and its a great space for warm winter evenings (yes, its Florida!)
