lovedddd the location and the jacuzzi on the top deck! really happy with our stay and we’d definitely book again!

The road climbs gently from Historic Main Street, past century-old mining facades and the low hum of restaurants filling for the evening, and then the town gives way to something quieter. Abode on Woodside sits in this transition zone between Park City's storied downtown and the open mountain terrain that surrounds it. This is a residential property with the bones of a proper mountain home, designed for travelers who want proximity to everything without being in the middle of it. The location is the defining feature: close enough to walk to Main Street's galleries, dining, and nightlife, yet positioned at the edge of trail networks that thread into the surrounding Wasatch landscape.
The home itself is managed by Abode, a Park City–based luxury vacation rental company with a portfolio of private residences across the area. The approach is consistent across their collection: properties are individually appointed, professionally maintained, and stocked with the kinds of details that make a rental feel less transactional and more like borrowing someone's exceptionally well-kept second home. Expect clean-lined interiors with mountain-appropriate warmth, full kitchen facilities for cooking in after a day on the slopes or trails, and comfortable living spaces built for gathering. The property accommodates groups and families well, with the kind of square footage and layout that hotels in the area simply cannot match at comparable price points.
Park City's geography does much of the work here. In winter, world-class skiing at Park City Mountain and Deer Valley is minutes away, and the town transforms into one of the most walkable ski destinations in North America. In summer and fall, the same trail access from Woodside connects to hiking and mountain biking routes that run for miles through wildflower meadows and aspen groves. The Sundance Film Festival each January turns Main Street into one of the most concentrated stretches of cultural energy in the American West. Year-round, the street holds its own with a genuine mix of independent shops, serious restaurants, and a local character that resort towns this polished rarely sustain.
What stays with you about Abode on Woodside is the particular rhythm it allows. Morning coffee with mountain light filling the windows, an unhurried walk downhill to town, an afternoon spent on a trail you discovered by stepping out the front door. There is no lobby, no concierge desk, no programmed experience. The property simply puts you in the right place and lets Park City do what it does best.

What gets you here is the proximity to Main Street, but what keeps you is the feeling of being just above it all—perched on the hillside with Old Town spread out below, close enough to walk but removed enough to breathe. The architecture doesn't fight the landscape; it settles into it. Inside, the open living space is genuinely warm rather than staged-warm, with overstuffed sofas and a fireplace that feels like the room's center of gravity. There's a lived-in intelligence to the layout—a reading nook in the master, a captain's bunk that kids will actually love, a kitchen built for real cooking. And then there's the hot tub on the deck, which earns its place not as a luxury checkbox but as the spot where the day finally lands. Hidden staircases connect you to the town below, which gives the whole stay a slightly secret quality—like you've found the neighborhood the locals would keep to themselves.

The location of the property was very convenient for accessing downtown. The house was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. We enjoyed the cards and puzzles found in the game closet. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at this wonderful property.
