The house was absolutely gorgeous and we loved the location as far as getting to shopping and restaurants.

The first thing you notice is the scale. Infinity by Fieldtrip rises four levels from the coastline, each floor framing the ocean through walls of glass that make the boundary between interior and exterior feel almost theoretical. This is not a hotel room dressed up as a home. It is a fully realized oceanfront residence, designed for guests who want the privacy of their own address and the dramatic architecture to match.
The layout unfolds vertically, with living spaces, bedrooms, and outdoor terraces stacked across four distinct levels. Floor-to-ceiling windows pull the Pacific into nearly every room, while an infinity pool on the property's edge appears to spill directly into the sea. The interiors lean modern and clean, with open-plan living areas that favor natural light, warm tones, and uncluttered sightlines. Multiple bedrooms are spread across the levels, each with its own sense of remove, giving the residence the rare ability to host a group without anyone feeling crowded. A fully equipped kitchen anchors the communal spaces, making it easy to settle in for long mornings or cook together without leaving the house.
Outdoor living here is not an afterthought. Terraces at multiple levels offer different perspectives on the water, from intimate balconies suited to morning coffee to expansive decks designed for evening gatherings. The infinity pool commands the property's visual center, its edge aligned with the horizon in a way that rewards every approach. Whether you spend your days poolside or moving between the sun-drenched levels, the rhythm of the ocean is constant, audible and visible from nearly everywhere in the house.
Infinity by Fieldtrip belongs to a curated portfolio of design-forward vacation residences, each selected for architectural distinction and setting. This particular property delivers on both counts. It is a place where the architecture does the work of hospitality, where the views are not a feature but the organizing principle of every room. You leave not remembering a lobby or a concierge desk, but the particular quality of light on the water from the third floor at dusk, and the feeling of a house that was built to hold exactly that moment.

There's a particular quality to a home where the ocean isn't a backdrop but the organizing principle — where the architecture essentially steps aside and lets the Pacific do the talking. Infinity by Fieldtrip sits directly on Malibu sand across four levels, each lined with floor-to-ceiling glass that makes the boundary between interior and coastline feel almost theoretical. The design is deliberately restrained — natural textures, a sand-and-surf palette — so nothing competes with what's happening outside those windows. Three balconies at different elevations give you shifting relationships with the water, which matters more than it sounds. This is a place for people who want proximity to the ocean that feels almost unreasonable, where you can walk straight from the house onto the beach and where dinner on the main balcony unfolds against a sunset you didn't have to chase. It's less a luxury rental and more a kind of sustained immersion — the surf is the first thing you hear, and it never really stops.

This host uses a third-party to advertise his listings. They ask a sequence of questions, such as how many people are overnight/visitors are expected to visit the property. I arrive with my family and the host refused to check us in. He implied that we were over capacity to be at his property, despite they ask and made aware upon preapproval. The host kept lying saying Airbnb canceled the trip from their side, as I’m on the phone with them. I’ve never had this issue in any of the many properties I’ve rented, the thousands spent and my outstanding rating as a renter. This was the first time EVER that I arrived after preapproval and was denied access. I contacted Airbnb after the host intentionally tried to keep my money by denying entry & refusing to cancel my reservation, as advised by Airbnb Support. Airbnb demanded he let me check in or cancel my reservation after I provided them documentation. He refused. Airbnb refunded me and accommodated our shelter. He will leave you homeless
