Great little escape place to visit! Secluded with relaxing hot tub. Thank you for all the info Landon! Would totally recommend for a couple!

The road narrows, the trees lean closer, and then the water appears. Creekside Cottage sits directly on the bank of a tidal creek in the Rehoboth Beach area, a compact waterfront retreat where the view from nearly every room is the gentle pull of the current and the soft green of the surrounding marshland. The cottage is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom home designed for intimate getaways, with a layout that draws you naturally toward the water from the moment you step inside.
A private dock extends from the backyard straight into the creek, offering direct water access for kayaking, paddleboarding, crabbing, or simply sitting with your feet over the edge as the tide shifts beneath you. Back on land, a hot tub is positioned to take in the waterfront setting, turning quiet evenings into something worth lingering over. The outdoor spaces here are as much a part of the living area as anything under the roof. A fire pit area rounds out the backyard, giving the property a natural gathering point after the sun drops below the tree line.
Inside, the cottage is warm and straightforward. The kitchen is fully equipped for home-cooked meals, and the living area opens to views of the creek, keeping the water close even when you're indoors. With two bedrooms and space for a small group, Creekside Cottage is scaled for couples or a few close friends rather than large parties. The pace here is unhurried by design. Mornings might start with coffee on the dock. Afternoons can disappear into a book, a paddleboard session, or a drive into Rehoboth Beach, where the boardwalk, restaurants, and the broader Delaware shore scene are all within easy reach.
Rehoboth and its surrounding coastal communities offer a reliable mix of seafood restaurants, local shops, and beaches that have drawn visitors for decades. The cottage's position along the creek keeps you slightly removed from the busier beach energy, which is precisely the point. You are close enough to enjoy everything the area offers but tucked into a quieter corner where the rhythm of the water sets the tempo. What stays with you after a few days at Creekside Cottage is the particular stillness of the creek at slack tide, the way the hot tub steam rises into cool evening air, and the feeling that a small house on the water can hold more than its square footage suggests.

There's a particular kind of quiet here that isn't just the absence of noise — it's the creek filling in all the spaces where your usual worries used to sit. Creekside Cottage feels genuinely personal, like someone built a retreat around the simple pleasures they actually care about: a record player instead of a Bluetooth speaker, a kayak at the dock instead of a list of local outfitters, a fire pit that assumes you'll want to linger outside after dark. The fenced yard creates a sense of enclosure that makes the whole property feel private rather than merely remote. It's the kind of place that suits people who don't need much programming — just a hammock, moving water, and the rare luxury of having nowhere else to be.

My boyfriend and I booked this listing for an extended anniversary weekend trip. It was exactly as described, the host was very responsive. Very clean, pretty private and quiet surroundings. Hot tub and jacuzzi tub were very relaxing and clean. We checked out a local corn maze and then took a day trip to Hershey Park. The only thing we brought that this listing did not have was a card table for a board game night, but an electric board game tablet was a nice surprise to find in the living room! We originally wanted to try out the kayak in the creek, but did not adventure out there because the hill is very steep from the road to the dock/water and looked difficult to get the kayak in an out; but this had no negative effect on our trip at all. Kitchen was the perfect size for what we needed. We had a very relaxing and peaceful time at the cottage! Would definitely return!

Had a great stay! The bed was extremely comfortable and the town was cute - only 15-20 min drive away to a main city for shopping centers and fantastic farmers market with freshly baked bread and homemade treats! Getting into the house was a bit odd because we were sent a code much longer than the door needed! I didn’t read there wasn’t a TV in the listing so if you want to watch something don’t forget a laptop!

This cottage was exactly what we needed. It was cozy and quiet. Perfect for a weekend getaway to just be alone with each other. The creek across the way was peaceful to sit by and fish in.
The house itself was super cozy , perfect for two people. The bed was big and comfy. The jacuzzi in the bedroom was relaxing and the hot tub outside was wonderful. The backyard was spacious.
Overall this place was great, we had such a lovely time and felt so much like home that we didn’t want to leave. 10/10 would recommend and book again.
