Great little escape place to visit! Secluded with relaxing hot tub. Thank you for all the info Landon! Would totally recommend for a couple!

The approach is unhurried, as it should be. Creekside Cottage sits right at the water's edge, a waterfront retreat where the creek stretches out just beyond the back door and the pace of life adjusts itself accordingly. This is not a grand estate or a sprawling resort. It is something more intimate: a standalone cottage built for the kind of getaway where mornings begin slowly and evenings linger long after the sun drops below the treeline.
The cottage itself is warm and well-considered, with interiors that feel lived-in rather than staged. The layout accommodates small groups comfortably, with enough space to gather together and enough corners to find a quiet moment alone. Large windows frame views of the water, drawing the landscape inside and blurring the boundary between the cottage and its setting. The kitchen is fully equipped for guests who want to cook their own meals, and the living areas are designed for easy, unhurried conversation. It is the kind of place where you settle in quickly and feel reluctant to leave.
Outside is where Creekside Cottage truly comes into its own. The private dock extends directly over the water, offering a place to fish, launch a kayak, or simply sit with your feet dangling above the surface as the afternoon unfolds. The hot tub sits in a prime position to take in the waterfront setting, turning an evening soak into something quietly memorable. The outdoor spaces are generous enough for grilling, gathering, and watching the creek's unhurried current carry the day along. There is a rhythm here that has less to do with a schedule and more to do with the water itself.
What stays with you after a few days at Creekside Cottage is not any single feature but the cumulative feeling of proximity to the water and the simplicity it encourages. You wake to the sound of the creek. You end each day watching light shift across its surface from the dock or the hot tub. The cottage does not try to compete with its surroundings. It frames them, shelters you beside them, and gives you just enough comfort to make the experience feel effortless.

There's a particular kind of quiet here that isn't just the absence of noise — it's the creek filling in all the spaces where your usual worries used to sit. Creekside Cottage feels genuinely personal, like someone built a retreat around the simple pleasures they actually care about: a record player instead of a Bluetooth speaker, a kayak at the dock instead of a list of local outfitters, a fire pit that assumes you'll want to linger outside after dark. The fenced yard creates a sense of enclosure that makes the whole property feel private rather than merely remote. It's the kind of place that suits people who don't need much programming — just a hammock, moving water, and the rare luxury of having nowhere else to be.

Had a great stay! The bed was extremely comfortable and the town was cute - only 15-20 min drive away to a main city for shopping centers and fantastic farmers market with freshly baked bread and homemade treats! Getting into the house was a bit odd because we were sent a code much longer than the door needed! I didn’t read there wasn’t a TV in the listing so if you want to watch something don’t forget a laptop!

My boyfriend and I booked this listing for an extended anniversary weekend trip. It was exactly as described, the host was very responsive. Very clean, pretty private and quiet surroundings. Hot tub and jacuzzi tub were very relaxing and clean. We checked out a local corn maze and then took a day trip to Hershey Park. The only thing we brought that this listing did not have was a card table for a board game night, but an electric board game tablet was a nice surprise to find in the living room! We originally wanted to try out the kayak in the creek, but did not adventure out there because the hill is very steep from the road to the dock/water and looked difficult to get the kayak in an out; but this had no negative effect on our trip at all. Kitchen was the perfect size for what we needed. We had a very relaxing and peaceful time at the cottage! Would definitely return!

This cottage was exactly what we needed. It was cozy and quiet. Perfect for a weekend getaway to just be alone with each other. The creek across the way was peaceful to sit by and fish in.
The house itself was super cozy , perfect for two people. The bed was big and comfy. The jacuzzi in the bedroom was relaxing and the hot tub outside was wonderful. The backyard was spacious.
Overall this place was great, we had such a lovely time and felt so much like home that we didn’t want to leave. 10/10 would recommend and book again.
