Great spot. Amazing view. Incredible rooftop space. Our loved just hanging out there.

Some homes reveal themselves room by room. The Dwelling announces itself from above. A full-home rental built for gathering, it saves its most defining gesture for the top floor, where a sprawling rooftop terrace opens to panoramic views and a fire pit that anchors the space like a hearth pulled skyward. Up here, the boundaries between indoor living and open air dissolve. The landscape stretches out in every direction, and evenings settle into something unhurried, shaped by firelight and the kind of wide-angle perspective that only elevation can offer.
The home itself is designed for comfort at scale. Multiple bedrooms and well-appointed living spaces give groups and families room to spread out without losing the connective warmth of a shared house. The interiors are clean and considered, with enough character to feel personal and enough restraint to let the architecture do the talking. Common areas flow with an easy logic, from kitchen to dining to living space, encouraging the kind of slow, communal rhythm that vacation rentals promise but rarely deliver. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who want to cook in, and the layout ensures that even a full house never feels crowded.
But the rooftop is the reason you book The Dwelling. It is not a small balcony or a token outdoor corner. It is a genuine living space, complete with seating, the fire pit, and those commanding views that shift with the light throughout the day. Mornings are quiet and expansive up here. Afternoons invite long, lazy conversations. And at night, the fire pit becomes the natural gathering point, drawing everyone upward. It is the kind of space that reorients the entire stay, pulling daily life outdoors and overhead in a way that feels both unexpected and entirely natural.
What stays with you after a visit to The Dwelling is that sense of elevation, not just physical but experiential. The house grounds you in warmth and togetherness, then lifts your gaze. You leave with the memory of sky stretched wide, of firelight flickering against open air, and of a home that understood its best room had no ceiling at all.

There's something quietly disarming about a place that pairs bespoke interiors and an electric fireplace's glow with the unhurried rhythm of Ohio's Amish Country. The Dwelling doesn't try to compete with its surroundings—it elevates them, literally. That rooftop terrace, with its hot tub, fire pit, and open-air dining, isn't a flashy amenity; it's the entire point. You're perched above rolling fields, watching the sky do its work, and the silence here isn't empty—it's full of something you forgot you needed. The countryside below, with its horse-drawn buggies and local markets, anchors you in a world that moves at a fundamentally different pace. It's the kind of stay that suits people who don't need entertainment so much as permission to stop.

We had a wonderful stay at The Dwelling. We rented both apartments and enjoyed the rooftop patio. It was in a convenient location. The linens were very nice and the beds were comfortable. We would book again if we were in the Ohio Amish Country again.

The view is beautiful! Watched the sunrise each morning from the hot tub. Very peaceful.
