There are some good local eats around the area that are walkable! There is a train nearby but that was no issue for me at all!

Some homes earn their welcome through proximity alone. This spacious four-bedroom residence, listed as 4BR • Sleeps 9 • Spacious Home • Walkable Area, sits in one of Portland's most walkable neighborhoods, offering the kind of quiet, grounded base that lets a city trip breathe. The layout accommodates up to nine guests across four bedrooms, giving groups and families the rare luxury of genuine space without scattering across multiple hotel rooms or cramped quarters. Here, the front door opens and the city unfolds from there.
The home itself is built around togetherness. Shared living areas give everyone room to spread out, whether that means morning coffee at the kitchen counter or an unhurried evening spent comparing notes on the day's discoveries. With the capacity to sleep nine comfortably, this is a property that understands the rhythms of group travel: the need for communal energy balanced by enough square footage that nobody feels underfoot. The residential setting lends a sense of neighborhood life that hotels simply cannot replicate.
Portland rewards those who walk. From this address, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and cultural landmarks are reachable on foot, making the car feel optional and the city feel intimate. The walkable surroundings mean that every outing becomes an opportunity for spontaneous discovery, whether it is a new bakery on the corner or a bookstore you had not planned to visit. Staying in a residential pocket rather than a commercial corridor offers something distinct: you experience the city as locals do, at a pace that invites curiosity rather than exhaustion.
What lingers after a stay here is less about any single feature and more about the feeling of having lived somewhere rather than visited it. Mornings are slower. Conversations stretch longer. The city comes to you in pieces, through open windows and neighborhood sounds and the gentle pull of a sidewalk leading somewhere worth going. For groups seeking Portland on their own terms, this home provides exactly that: room, location, and the freedom to make the days your own.

What gets you here is the neighborhood — SE Division's particular brand of creative energy, where vintage shops and serious food sit side by side without pretension — but what keeps you is how this house absorbs that spirit without performing it. High ceilings and generous natural light give the rooms a sense of openness that feels earned, not staged, and the bespoke touches throughout read as genuinely considered rather than decorator-curated. It's a four-bedroom home that actually functions like one: a place where a group can spread out, reconvene over a meal in the kitchen, and let the day's wandering settle into easy conversation. With a 98 WalkScore, the city is practically at your doorstep, which means the house becomes less a base camp and more a breathing room between encounters. The thing that lingers is the balance — Portland's restless, generous energy just outside, and a calm you didn't expect waiting when you return.

We loved our stay here, Austin was very communicative and helpful. We booked both the top and bottom unit and it was a very comfortable space. Akadi is a west african restaurant that is a short walk away and we had the best meal of our lives there. There is a ton of other great places all within a 20 minute walk, this was the perfect place for our group to stay at
