Great place in cool neighborhood. Very clean.

The Alberta Arts District announces itself in layers: murals wrapping entire building facades, independent shops with hand-lettered signage, the scent of wood-fired pizza drifting from corner restaurants. The Designer Townhome in Alberta Arts + In-Law Suite sits within this vibrant corridor, a thoughtfully appointed residential property that absorbs the creative energy of the neighborhood while offering a retreat that feels distinctly personal. This is not a hotel experience. It is the feeling of having your own place in one of Portland's most characterful districts, designed with an eye that takes comfort and aesthetics equally seriously.
The townhome itself is a study in contemporary residential design, with clean lines, curated furnishings, and an open layout that prioritizes natural light and livability. Spaces are composed rather than decorated, balancing modern fixtures with warm textures and carefully chosen details that give each room a sense of intention. The kitchen is fully equipped for guests who want to cook with ingredients sourced from nearby markets and farms, while living areas are arranged for genuine relaxation rather than display. The inclusion of a separate in-law suite expands the property's versatility considerably, offering additional sleeping quarters with their own sense of privacy and independence. Whether hosting a small group of friends or traveling as an extended family, the configuration allows everyone room to breathe without feeling separated from one another.
Alberta Street is the kind of neighborhood that rewards walking. The blocks surrounding the property are lined with galleries, coffee roasters, vintage shops, and restaurants that reflect Portland's deep commitment to independent culture and local sourcing. Last Thursday on Alberta, the neighborhood's celebrated monthly art walk, transforms the street into a pedestrian festival of art, music, and food. Even on quieter days, the area pulses with a casual creative energy that makes every errand feel like a small discovery. The property's location places guests within easy reach of this streetlife while sitting on a residential stretch that retains a sense of calm when the front door closes.
What stays with you after a few days here is the rhythm of it. Morning coffee made in your own kitchen, an afternoon spent browsing Alberta's shops and galleries, dinner at one of the neighborhood's chef-driven restaurants, and the quiet return to a space that feels entirely yours. The Designer Townhome in Alberta Arts + In-Law Suite offers something increasingly rare in travel: the texture of real neighborhood life, shaped by thoughtful design and delivered without a single front desk or keycard in sight.

There's something about a space that borrows its personality from the neighborhood rather than imposing one — and this townhome does exactly that. The design reads like a quiet conversation between restraint and expression: soothing neutrals grounded by herringbone floors, then interrupted by bold artistic details that feel earned, not staged. Vaulted ceilings give the interiors room to breathe, and the separate in-law suite with its own entrance creates a rare sense of independence within a shared stay — ideal for traveling with someone you love but don't need to have breakfast with. Being steps from Alberta Arts means you're embedded in Portland's creative pulse without performing it. The patio pulls you back at the end of the day, small and private enough to feel like yours. It's the kind of place that doesn't announce itself but lingers with you afterward.

Fantastic home, modern, nicely furnished. Had a small issue with the access code not working after initial access to the home, but Delanie responded quickly and resolved the issue. Lovely home and furnishings, especially the kitchen table and sofa.

Delanie was a great host, incredibly communicative and low maintenance compared to every other Airbnb I’ve stayed at.
The property was clean and beautiful, and surprisingly parking was super easy to find no matter what time (something I was initially worried about).
The area felt safe and there were plenty of local spots for food, coffee and drinks within walking distance that were highly reviewed.
We would certainly stay again if traveling to Portland.

Best Airbnb yet! It was exactly what we needed for four adults. My elderly dad had the perfect downstairs mother-in-law unit with a walk in shower and his own tv.
The place was pristine. And the couch was comfortable.
The places within walking distance fit all of our needs for entertainment, coffee and food.
Delanie was immediately responsive to requests.
I would not hesitate to stay there again.
I have a sensitive tailbone and most mattresses hurt after a while, these beds were comfortable and the linens were new, and of a high quality.
The only minor quibbles would be more hooks in the bedrooms.
Another bonus is the quick access to the airport.
