Great location, easy access, clean and as advertised. Perfect stop for me and my family!

The front door opens onto one of Portland's most creatively charged corridors. Designer Townhome in Alberta Arts + In-Law Suite is a modern residence set directly within the Alberta Arts District, where independent galleries, coffee roasters, and neighborhood restaurants line the sidewalks in every direction. The architecture reads clean and contemporary, a thoughtfully designed townhome built with an eye toward both aesthetics and livability, offering the kind of space that feels considered rather than decorated.
The property spans multiple levels and includes a separate in-law suite, making it unusually well suited for families, small groups, or travelers who want both togetherness and independence under one roof. The main townhome features an open living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and bedrooms designed with comfort and visual calm in mind. The in-law suite functions as its own self-contained space, complete with its own entrance, sleeping area, and amenities. Together, the two units create a flexible layout that can accommodate a range of travel styles without anyone feeling crowded. This is a home that was clearly designed by someone who understands how people actually want to live in a space, not just pass through it.
Alberta Street itself is the kind of neighborhood that rewards walking. Restaurants, bars, vintage shops, and street art murals sit within a few blocks in either direction. The district has long been one of Portland's most culturally vibrant pockets, known for its independent spirit and its refusal to feel like anywhere else. From here, the wider city opens up easily. The food scenes of nearby Williams and Mississippi avenues are close at hand, and downtown Portland, the Pearl District, and Forest Park are all reachable within minutes.
What stays with you about this property is the way it balances design intention with neighborhood authenticity. You are not staying in a sterile rental unit dropped into a residential block. You are staying in a home that belongs here, one that takes its cues from the creative energy of the street outside while offering a private, beautifully composed interior to return to at the end of each day. The rhythm is yours to set. Cook breakfast in the kitchen, walk to a nearby café, spend the afternoon exploring, and come back to a space that feels genuinely like your own.

There's something about a space that borrows its personality from the neighborhood rather than imposing one — and this townhome does exactly that. The design reads like a quiet conversation between restraint and expression: soothing neutrals grounded by herringbone floors, then interrupted by bold artistic details that feel earned, not staged. Vaulted ceilings give the interiors room to breathe, and the separate in-law suite with its own entrance creates a rare sense of independence within a shared stay — ideal for traveling with someone you love but don't need to have breakfast with. Being steps from Alberta Arts means you're embedded in Portland's creative pulse without performing it. The patio pulls you back at the end of the day, small and private enough to feel like yours. It's the kind of place that doesn't announce itself but lingers with you afterward.

Best Airbnb yet! It was exactly what we needed for four adults. My elderly dad had the perfect downstairs mother-in-law unit with a walk in shower and his own tv.
The place was pristine. And the couch was comfortable.
The places within walking distance fit all of our needs for entertainment, coffee and food.
Delanie was immediately responsive to requests.
I would not hesitate to stay there again.
I have a sensitive tailbone and most mattresses hurt after a while, these beds were comfortable and the linens were new, and of a high quality.
The only minor quibbles would be more hooks in the bedrooms.
Another bonus is the quick access to the airport.

Delanie was a great host, incredibly communicative and low maintenance compared to every other Airbnb I’ve stayed at.
The property was clean and beautiful, and surprisingly parking was super easy to find no matter what time (something I was initially worried about).
The area felt safe and there were plenty of local spots for food, coffee and drinks within walking distance that were highly reviewed.
We would certainly stay again if traveling to Portland.
