There is a particular stillness that comes from sleeping among the trees. Not beneath them, not beside them, but within the canopy itself, suspended at the height where leaves catch light and birdsong arrives unfiltered. Morii is a luxury glamping retreat built around this precise sensation. The property's signature accommodation is a geodesic treetop dome, a transparent architectural structure elevated into the forest canopy, offering panoramic views of the surrounding greenery from the comfort of a fully appointed interior. The design is deliberate in its contrasts: the geometry of the dome set against the organic lines of branches and sky, the raw proximity to nature paired with considered comforts inside.
The dome itself is more than a novelty. It functions as a private retreat with a plush bed, curated furnishings, and the kind of quiet that only elevation and distance from the ground can provide. Natural light moves through the transparent panels throughout the day, shifting the mood of the space from bright morning warmth to the soft amber of late afternoon. At night, the dome becomes something else entirely, a room open to stars without walls to interrupt the view. Just outside, a private dip pool offers a place to cool off while remaining immersed in the landscape. The pool is positioned to feel like an extension of the treetop setting, a small body of water framed by foliage where you can settle in and let the surrounding forest do the rest.
Days here follow a rhythm dictated less by itinerary and more by instinct. You might spend a morning reading inside the dome as light filters through the canopy, then move to the dip pool when the afternoon heat arrives. The property is designed for guests seeking a sense of seclusion and intimacy with nature, a place where the accommodations themselves are the experience rather than a base for exploration elsewhere. The glamping format strips away the excess of traditional hospitality while retaining the comforts that make a stay feel genuinely restorative. There are no lobbies to navigate, no crowds to absorb. The property's identity is rooted in the singular experience of its treetop dome and the privacy that comes with it.
What lingers after a stay at Morii is not a checklist of amenities but a sensory imprint. The sound of wind moving through leaves at eye level. The way water in the dip pool reflects the green overhead. The strange, welcome disorientation of waking up in a transparent room surrounded by forest. It is glamping in the truest sense, a return to the landscape with nothing lost in comfort, and everything gained in perspective.

There's something quietly disorienting—in the best way—about sleeping inside a geodesic dome suspended in a canopy of Texas greenery. Morii doesn't feel like a hotel, or even like glamping in the expected sense. It feels like someone with genuine taste designed a very specific daydream: vintage-inspired geometry, plush interiors with rustic restraint, and a private deck with a dip pool reflecting nothing but sky. The property leans into solitude without austerity—you're surrounded by Hill Country wildflowers and cedar-scented air, occasionally visited by mini cows grazing through the foliage, which is a detail no one could fabricate. It's a place for two people who want to feel far away without roughing it, where the evening soundtrack is crickets and wind rather than curated playlists. What lingers isn't any single amenity but the atmosphere of being gently held above the landscape, watching moonlight move across the dome walls, feeling genuinely unreachable.

This was a great place to get away for a couples weekend and just 'go missing'. It was great to truly UNPLUG from the world, be able to grill on the firepit, enjoy the silence, & sit at night and just enjoy each others company with no distractions. Being able to listen to the record player was a nice touch on the music and more laid back than having the radio and ads to tie in any civilization. The trailhead is a nice walk, not too long and had plenty of little overlook setups to sit and just take in the scenery.
The hosts were quick to repond to any questions and were pleasant from start to finish. The dome was perfectly set up for relaxation and comfort and couldn't have asked for better.
We ventured out once to Downtown Marble Falls, and would definitely recommend anyone doing so, that you check out the Bluebonnet Cafe if you need a great spot for breakfast.
There isn't anything wrong to be said on the stay here, other than we wish we could have found it sooner!

Amazing experience. Beautiful place to disconnect from everyday life and get lost in the woods. Definitely would recommend this magical place. Hosts were amazing, provided super clear instructions to make our check-in, arrival and stay super efficient and make the most out of our time there. The property is breath taking and has multiple trails to discover with hidden surprises along the way such as lounges with great views, meditation games and tree swings. Completely loved it!
