The road narrows. The jungle thickens. And then, elevated among the trees, a geodesic dome emerges like something between architecture and daydream. Morii · Luxury Glamping Treetop Dome + Dip Pool is not a hotel in any conventional sense. It is a single, transparent structure set high in the canopy, where the boundaries between shelter and wilderness dissolve into something more intimate than either could offer alone.
The dome itself is the entire experience. Its clear panels frame the surrounding treetops from every angle, allowing the forest to become both wallpaper and companion. Inside, the space is furnished with care rather than excess: a generous bed dressed in quality linens, warm lighting, and the kind of considered simplicity that lets the setting do the talking. The effect is immersive without being rugged. You are in the jungle, but you sleep well. A private dip pool sits just outside the dome, offering a place to cool off while still suspended in greenery. It is small and deliberate, less a swimming pool than a personal refuge tucked into the treetops. The overall feeling is one of privacy so complete it borders on seclusion.
Morii operates as a standalone accommodation rather than a full-service resort, which shapes the rhythm of a stay here. There are no restaurants or lobbies to navigate, no programming to follow. Instead, the experience is defined by stillness, by the sounds of the forest arriving unfiltered, by mornings spent watching light shift through the dome's transparent walls. Guests come here to disconnect in the most literal sense, trading the noise of daily life for something slower and greener. The property provides what you need and leaves the rest to the trees.
The surrounding Philippine landscape offers its own rewards for those willing to explore beyond the canopy. Local beaches, waterfalls, and small towns sit within reach, though the temptation to stay put is considerable. Morii exists in a category that is still relatively rare: a place where luxury is measured not in thread count or square footage but in the quality of quiet it provides. You arrive curious. You leave lighter. And somewhere between the dip pool and the stars visible through the dome at night, you remember what it feels like to be genuinely, uncomplicatedly present.

There's something quietly disorienting—in the best way—about sleeping inside a geodesic dome suspended in a canopy of Texas greenery. Morii doesn't feel like a hotel, or even like glamping in the expected sense. It feels like someone with genuine taste designed a very specific daydream: vintage-inspired geometry, plush interiors with rustic restraint, and a private deck with a dip pool reflecting nothing but sky. The property leans into solitude without austerity—you're surrounded by Hill Country wildflowers and cedar-scented air, occasionally visited by mini cows grazing through the foliage, which is a detail no one could fabricate. It's a place for two people who want to feel far away without roughing it, where the evening soundtrack is crickets and wind rather than curated playlists. What lingers isn't any single amenity but the atmosphere of being gently held above the landscape, watching moonlight move across the dome walls, feeling genuinely unreachable.

This was a great place to get away for a couples weekend and just 'go missing'. It was great to truly UNPLUG from the world, be able to grill on the firepit, enjoy the silence, & sit at night and just enjoy each others company with no distractions. Being able to listen to the record player was a nice touch on the music and more laid back than having the radio and ads to tie in any civilization. The trailhead is a nice walk, not too long and had plenty of little overlook setups to sit and just take in the scenery.
The hosts were quick to repond to any questions and were pleasant from start to finish. The dome was perfectly set up for relaxation and comfort and couldn't have asked for better.
We ventured out once to Downtown Marble Falls, and would definitely recommend anyone doing so, that you check out the Bluebonnet Cafe if you need a great spot for breakfast.
There isn't anything wrong to be said on the stay here, other than we wish we could have found it sooner!

Amazing experience. Beautiful place to disconnect from everyday life and get lost in the woods. Definitely would recommend this magical place. Hosts were amazing, provided super clear instructions to make our check-in, arrival and stay super efficient and make the most out of our time there. The property is breath taking and has multiple trails to discover with hidden surprises along the way such as lounges with great views, meditation games and tree swings. Completely loved it!
