Great place and location to stay with a very nice setup. The restaurant below can be a little noisy but that was already listed in the description.

The staircase delivers you into an open, light-filled space where exposed architectural lines meet the warmth of a living flame. Trio Loft sits in the heart of downtown Greenville, South Carolina, occupying the kind of address that puts you within walking distance of everything worth finding while giving you a private perch above the energy of the street. This is not a hotel room dressed up as something more. It is a proper residence, designed for guests who want the texture of a real neighborhood rather than the anonymity of a lobby.
The loft itself is built around a single generous living area anchored by an indoor fireplace and a 65-inch television, the kind of room where an evening in feels just as appealing as an evening out. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who prefer to cook with ingredients sourced from nearby markets, and the layout rewards both solo travelers and small groups with a sense of space that most urban rentals fail to deliver. Bedding, finishes, and furnishings are selected with care, keeping the aesthetic clean and modern without stripping away comfort. The result is a space that feels considered rather than staged.
Step outside and you are immediately in the orbit of Greenville's downtown core, a stretch of the city that has become one of the most celebrated small-city scenes in the American South. The Swamp Rabbit Trail, Falls Park on the Reedy, and a dense concentration of independent restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques all sit within easy reach. The neighborhood rewards those who walk it slowly, and the loft's location means you can return between outings without losing momentum.
What stays with you about Trio Loft is the way it collapses the distance between visitor and local. There is no front desk, no concierge script, no buffet breakfast. Instead, there is a key, a well-designed room, a fireplace, and a city waiting just beyond the door. It is the kind of stay that feels less like accommodation and more like borrowing someone's very good apartment for a few days.

There's a particular kind of warmth here that has nothing to do with the wood-burning stove — though that certainly helps. Trio Loft feels like someone with genuinely good taste decided to build exactly the downtown Greenville hideaway they'd want for themselves: plush textures against clean modern lines, a kitchen that actually invites you to cook, and a living room scaled generously enough that you never feel like you're just sleeping in someone's spare room. It sits right in the thick of things — the Swamp Rabbit Trail, the boutiques, the restaurants — yet the loft itself has this quality of hush that makes stepping back inside feel like a small reward. It's the kind of place that suits a weekend with no fixed plans, where the stove's flickering glow and a glass of wine become the evening's entire agenda, and that feels like more than enough.

This was our 2nd time staying here in our long weekend in Greenville. It is a perfect location to walk to everything downtown. We had a situation with the door lock and the response was within minutes giving us a solution. We are looking forward to staying here again!

We absolutely loved the location and being so close to all the action downtown. The place was very comfortable and clean. It was clear a lot of thought went into setting it up for guests. <br/>Thank you for a great visit!
