Nice charming getaway!!!!

Steel walls and open sky. The Stunning Two Story Container Home Near Waco announces itself not with grandeur but with clarity, a structure born from repurposed shipping containers that have been thoughtfully transformed into a striking two-story residence. The architecture is honest and deliberate, its industrial bones left visible while the interior spaces offer genuine warmth and livability. It is the kind of place that asks you to reconsider what a home can be, where corrugated metal and carefully chosen finishes exist in surprising harmony.
The layout unfolds across two levels, giving the home a sense of vertical openness uncommon in properties of this scale. Living areas are designed to feel spacious and light-filled, with windows positioned to draw in natural brightness and frame the surrounding Texas landscape. The kitchen is equipped for real cooking, making it easy to settle in for longer stays or simply prepare a quiet morning meal before the day unfolds. Bedrooms are arranged to offer privacy without sacrificing the home's open, airy character. Outdoor space extends the living area beyond the container walls, offering room to gather, unwind, or simply sit with the stillness of the countryside.
The property sits within reach of Waco, a city that has grown into a destination of its own in recent years. The surrounding area offers a mix of local dining, markets, and cultural attractions, while the landscape itself provides an unhurried backdrop of open fields and wide horizons. Whether you spend your days exploring what the region has to offer or prefer to stay close to the property and let the hours pass on their own terms, the location provides both access and seclusion in equal measure.
What lingers after a stay here is the unexpected comfort of a space that looks industrial but feels deeply personal. The container home is not trying to be something it is not. Its beauty comes from its directness, from the way raw materials have been given new purpose and new life. You leave with a quiet appreciation for design that prioritizes intention over excess, and for the particular peace that comes from a place where the architecture itself feels like an act of imagination.

There's something disarming about a home built from shipping containers that still manages to feel genuinely inviting—not as a novelty, but as a place you'd actually want to linger. The Cool River leans into its industrial bones with a clean, contemporary interior that never tries too hard, letting natural light and smart proportions do the work. Two separate suites give it an unusual intimacy for a small-group stay, a sense of having your own quarters without the formality of a hotel. But it's the rooftop deck that shifts everything—surrounded by open pastureland, it offers a quiet that feels earned, not manufactured. The setting outside Waco, walking distance to the artisan workshops and eateries of Homestead Heritage, roots the experience in something local and unhurried. It's the kind of place that sticks with you not because it was lavish, but because it was thoughtfully considered from the ground up.

Beautiful place to stay! Great place for either couples or families. We loved the pickleball court, seeing the horses, and being able to walk to the cafe. Everything is very clean and the upstairs patio is wonderful! We will definitely be back!

We to stay in “unique” places. It was our first time in a container home and it was awesome. Thank you to Kenneth for a wonderful experience.
