Stay Duvet
The front porch alone tells you what kind of stay this will be. The Waltz is a spacious Nashville residence designed to hold everyone together, a large-format home in East Nashville where groups of friends, extended families, or wedding parties can settle in without scattering across multiple rentals or cramming into undersized quarters. The house accommodates up to sixteen guests across multiple bedrooms, with enough square footage and common space that even a full house never feels crowded. The architecture reads as classic Nashville residential, updated and well maintained, with an open layout that moves easily from kitchen to living area to outdoor space.
Inside, the kitchen is built for communal cooking, outfitted to handle real meals for real crowds rather than serving as a decorative afterthought. Living areas are generous and furnished for actual use, with enough seating that the group doesn't need to rotate through shifts. Bedrooms are spread across the home to give guests a degree of privacy even in a shared-house setting, and multiple bathrooms keep mornings running smoothly when everyone is getting ready at once. The overall design is comfortable and contemporary without veering into overly styled territory. It feels like a home, not a showroom.
Outdoor space extends the property's footprint in ways that matter, especially during warmer months. There is room to gather outside, to eat together, or simply to spread out when the Tennessee weather cooperates. The neighborhood itself is one of Nashville's most interesting. East Nashville offers a dense concentration of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and live music venues within easy reach. It is the kind of area where you can walk to dinner or grab morning coffee without needing to coordinate cars for the entire group. The proximity to downtown Nashville keeps the city's bigger attractions accessible while the neighborhood retains its own distinct character and pace.
What makes The Waltz work is its straightforward promise delivered well. This is a home scaled for groups, located in a neighborhood worth exploring, equipped for the kind of stay where cooking together, hanging out, and having enough space to breathe all coexist without compromise. The rhythm here is communal but unhurried. Everyone under one roof, nobody fighting for the bathroom, and the best of East Nashville just outside the door.

There's a particular quality to staying somewhere that feels like a home someone actually thought about — not a staged set, but a space where the proportions, the light, the palette all suggest someone cared deeply about how a room makes you feel. The Waltz has that. Set in Cannonborough, just off the gravity of King Street, it holds a kind of generous calm: sun-filled rooms with high ceilings, a design sensibility that leans elegant without being stiff, and enough space for a group to spread out and still come together around the kitchen or dining table. It's the kind of place that suits a reunion, a celebration, a week where everyone's under one roof and nobody feels crowded. Charleston's cobblestones and oak-lined streets are right outside, but the real pull is how natural it feels to linger inside.

We had the best time at Taylor’s place! The place was decorated amazing and each room had stylish, unique touches. Great location and not too far from King! I would highly recommend staying here if you have a bigger group of gals! We all really enjoyed it.

The Waltz was everything that we thought it would be! The beds and bedding were very comfortable!
The location was very convenient for all of our destinations!
Very well appointed with glassware and kitchen utensils.
The only negative that we would offer suggestions are that 2 of the bedrooms did not have a closet. Made it challenging to unpack for a 4 day weekend! We used a ladder rack that was in one of the baths to solve that problem.
Taylor was wonderful to work with!
Thank you for a wonderful trip to Charleston!
