What we love about this stay
Claim the king bedroom — it's the only one, and the extra breathing room matters when you're settling into a house this size for more than a night or two. Mornings here are best spent poolside before the Louisiana heat fully commits; bring your coffee out to the cabana by eight and you'll have that waterfront quiet entirely to yourself. The 12 acres feel genuinely wild, not manicured, which is the whole point. This is a beautiful, lovely home in the perfect location in Covington. The home is large and spacious with everything you could possibly need to enjoy just a weekend getaway or spend an entire week. There’s even a grand piano in the living room! The owner, Bryan, was more than accommodating in meeting us when we arrived and even suggested the best restaurants in town. <br/>We look forward to the opportunity of staying in this lovely home again.

We stayed at Bryan’s Estate and pool house for an extended weekend for my daughter’s wedding. It was the most beautiful setting for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready and then photos for first look, family, and wedding party. We loved the peaceful setting by the river, sitting on the dock, enjoying the pool after the wedding and the layout of the house. We felt right at home as soon as we entered the gates. The grounds are magnificent. The kitchen is very well stocked and we loved having the kitchen at the pool house for our pool day. We especially loved the Sonos sound system for music to play throughout the home and grounds for the weekend, especially on the wedding day! We are already looking forward to visiting the Estate at Charropin Beach very soon! Thank you Bryan! You have a truly special place!
