It was a wonderful little getaway!

There is something immediately disarming about the Little Dutch Cabin #102. The exterior carries the steep roofline and clean symmetry of Dutch colonial architecture, scaled down to something intimate and welcoming. It reads less like a rental and more like a small house you might have inherited from someone with impeccable taste and a fondness for warm evenings outside. The approach is unhurried, the proportions are human, and the first impression is one of genuine comfort rather than performance.
Inside, the cabin is thoughtfully appointed with a layout designed around togetherness. The living space is open and bright, moving easily from kitchen to dining to a sitting area that invites long conversations and slow mornings. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who prefer to cook in, and the dining space accommodates the kind of meals that stretch well past dessert. Bedrooms are clean-lined and restful, furnished with an eye toward simplicity rather than spectacle. The overall sensibility is modern farmhouse with a European inflection, warm wood tones grounded by neutral palettes and natural textures throughout.
What distinguishes this property is its outdoor life. A private hot tub sits ready for evening soaks under open skies, and a dedicated pickleball court transforms the backyard into something unexpected and genuinely fun. It is the kind of amenity that shifts the rhythm of a stay, turning an afternoon into a tournament and a group trip into something people talk about for months. The outdoor spaces feel generous, with room to spread out, gather around, or simply sit with a drink and watch the light change.
The cabin sits within easy reach of Waco's most compelling destinations, with Magnolia Market at the Silos approximately twelve minutes away. The surrounding area offers the unhurried pace of central Texas, where the landscape is wide, the sky is expansive, and the local culture leans toward hospitality, craft, and a deep appreciation for doing things well. It is a setting that rewards curiosity without demanding a packed itinerary.
Little Dutch Cabin #102 leaves you with something rare in a vacation rental: the feeling that the space was shaped around how people actually want to spend their time together. Not overdesigned, not underthought. Just a well-built cabin with a hot tub, a pickleball court, and the kind of easy atmosphere that makes leaving feel a little harder than it should.

There's something quietly unexpected about a cabin that borrows its lines from Dutch architecture, wraps them in Santa Fe stucco, and sets the whole thing down in a Texas pecan grove. It shouldn't cohere, but it does — the ten-foot ceilings and custom woodwork inside give the space a sense of openness that feels generous rather than oversized, more studio than cabin. It's the kind of place that rewards a slower pace without demanding one, where the countryside just outside Waco provides enough distance from everything to actually feel the quiet. The private hot tub under open sky doesn't hurt either. What stays with you is the specificity of the design choices — someone cared about this place in a way that's hard to replicate.

The Dutch cabin was a great place to stay. With the way the house is laid out, it's hard to say you're in a tiny house. The place is kept clean and is well stocked with towels and toiletries. The hot tub is the cherry on top, for sure! We enjoyed staying here as the part 1 trip of our honeymoon. Highly recommend staying here!

Everything was amazing and exactly how it was pictured. I needed a get away in a place that was near but not in the city. This place was perfect and had a hot tub to relax in for my 2 night stay. I recommend this place to anyone needing to get away.
