Stay Duvet
There is a particular quality to a residence that has been named rather than numbered. It suggests intention, personality, a sense of identity that extends beyond walls and furnishings. The Prince Philip is that kind of place. From the moment you step inside, the space communicates something deliberate about how it was designed and for whom. The interiors balance comfort with a certain formality, a home that feels lived-in yet carefully considered, where each room holds its own character while contributing to a cohesive whole.
The living spaces are generous and well-appointed, designed for both gathering and solitude. You will find seating arranged for conversation, surfaces that invite you to set down a book or a glass of wine, and natural light that shifts through the rooms as the day progresses. The kitchen is built for use, not just display, with enough space and equipment to prepare a proper meal. Bedrooms are thoughtfully composed with quality linens and a sense of quiet order. Bathrooms feel considered rather than afterthought, with fixtures and finishes that speak to the property's overall standard of care.
What distinguishes The Prince Philip from a typical rental is the sense that someone has thought deeply about the rhythm of a stay here. The property is not overloaded with amenities or design statements competing for attention. Instead, it offers something increasingly rare: a space that feels genuinely hospitable without performing hospitality. The furnishings have weight and texture. The layout encourages a natural flow between private retreat and shared time. Whether you are traveling with family, gathering with friends, or settling in for a longer stay, the residence adapts to the shape of your days rather than prescribing them.
The Prince Philip is the kind of property you remember not for a single dramatic gesture but for the accumulated sense of ease it provides. Mornings are unhurried. Evenings feel earned. And the space between holds a quality of presence that lingers well after you have returned home.

There's a particular quality to staying in a former residence that no purpose-built hotel can replicate — the proportions feel personal, the rooms carry a quiet confidence. The Prince Philip leans into that feeling without overcorrecting it. High ceilings and generous windows let Charleston's light do the decorating, and the restoration walks a careful line between honoring what was here and making it feel genuinely comfortable now. Tucked off King Street in the Crosstown neighborhood, it sits close enough to everything that matters while holding onto a sense of remove. It's the kind of place that suits someone who wants to walk into the city's rhythm rather than be delivered to it.

Super awesome spot right at the top of King street. Very well decorated, beds were comfortable and they had plenty of towels, coffee maker already prepped for when we got there. It is slightly noisy with the road being right there but they had noise machines and inside we didn't really notice it and with the location you can't beat it.

This place was so beyond beautiful inside and so clean! Was such a nice place to stay with our family! The host was very responsive with any questions we had! Literally felt like I was at home and able to relax and enjoy our stay! Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Charleston, and we actually had 5 bedrooms not the 3 that was listed! Every room is tastefully decorated without being overdone! And all the 3 bedrooms we needed had their own beautiful bathrooms we had a hard time choosing which one was the best! Also making breakfast was nice and easy with gas cooktop! Living room furniture was comfortable to sit around after a busy day shopping and touring a beautiful city! Thanks again for hosting us it was amazing and wonderful ❤️
