An absolutely amazing little home very cozy and the host was absolutely amazing

Frog Hollow Lodge sits right on the water, the kind of place where the river isn't a backdrop but the organizing principle of every hour. The lodge is a comfortable, generously proportioned residence built for groups and families who want proximity to nature without sacrificing the warmth of a well-considered home. From the moment you arrive, the property's riverfront positioning defines the experience. The water is close, visible, and accessible, and the grounds between and around the lodge feel shaped by that nearness.
Inside, the lodge offers the kind of open, lived-in spaces that encourage gathering. Common areas are designed for cooking together, sharing meals, and settling in for long evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped for guests who want to prepare their own meals, and the dining space accommodates the whole group comfortably. Bedrooms are arranged to give everyone room to breathe, with enough separation to feel private and enough proximity to feel connected. The overall character is rustic and relaxed, with a focus on function and comfort rather than decoration for its own sake.
Outdoors is where Frog Hollow Lodge truly comes alive. The fire pit is a natural gathering point once the sun drops, a place for conversation and quiet under open sky. Kayaks are available on-site, ready for guests to take out onto the river at their own pace. There's no schedule, no guided itinerary. You paddle when you want, linger on the water as long as the light holds, and return when you're ready. The riverfront itself is a place for wading, fishing, or simply sitting with a drink and watching the current move. The grounds offer enough space for kids to roam and for adults to find their own corners of stillness.
What stays with you about Frog Hollow Lodge is the simplicity of its rhythm. Mornings start slowly with coffee on the porch and the sound of the river. Afternoons unfold on the water or around the property. Evenings gather everyone back together around the fire. It is a place designed not to impress but to hold space for the kind of unhurried time that rarely survives contact with ordinary life. The lodge doesn't ask you to do anything extraordinary. It just gives you the room, the river, and the quiet to remember what you came looking for.

There's a particular kind of quiet that comes from being right on a river — not silence exactly, but a low, constant murmur that recalibrates your attention. Frog Hollow Lodge sits directly in that frequency, a riverside property in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, where the water isn't scenery you admire from a distance but something you step into, paddle through, and listen to as you fall asleep. The interiors lean cozy over polished, with plush furnishings that feel earned after a day on the water or around the fire pit. It's a place built for the kind of togetherness that doesn't need an agenda — just proximity to a river and the people you came with.

We come up to the area once a year for a long weekend of guy’s fellowship. This house was awesome, the river was really nice, and the tavern within walking distance was great. The host was beyond accommodating, even going as far to have ice melt dropped off to us before a big snow storm without having to ask, and having the road plowed so we could get out. We’ve stayed at a lot of different rentals in the area, and this is definitely one of the nicer ones if you have a smaller group of 2-5. This place would also be prefect for a family get away regardless of the time of year!

You feel at home with absolutely everything needed to make your stay cozy, private and comfortable. We had a great stay during new years eve with great view of the mountains around and gushing creek water in rythm of the wind. Absolutely a scenic place with backyard fireplace to celebrate family & friendship.<br/>The host is extremely cordial, responsible and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and we had been helped manyfolds than expected. I highly recommend the property for a cozy stay suitable for all seasons. See you around again cozy place!

My family spent the weekend Frog Hollow for Parents Weekend at Penn Tech College. We really enjoyed the fire pit and desk overlooking the stream. We will be staying here again. Also very pleased with Landon answering any questions we had. Very accomodating.
