Such a great place to stay if you are in the Nashville area! We will be back!

The Camellia announces itself not with grandeur but with a kind of quiet generosity. This is a residence designed around comfort in its most considered form: open layouts, natural light, and a rooftop patio that extends the living space upward into open air. Managed by Hallson, the property carries the hallmarks of a thoughtfully appointed private home rather than a standardized rental, with interiors that feel both collected and cohesive.
The rooftop patio is the defining feature here, a space that invites long mornings with coffee and unhurried evenings as the sky shifts. It functions as a true outdoor living room, generous enough for gathering yet intimate enough to feel like your own. Inside, the residence is laid out with an intuitive flow between kitchen, living, and sleeping spaces, each finished with clean lines and warm, livable textures. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who prefer to cook in, and the overall design leans toward a modern simplicity that never feels austere. Details are restrained but purposeful, the kind of space where everything you need is already where you expect it to be.
For guests traveling with dogs, The Camellia is explicitly welcoming. This is not a grudging pet policy with fine print and fees layered on as an afterthought. The property is designed with four-legged companions in mind, offering the kind of easy indoor-outdoor access and durable finishes that make traveling with a pet feel genuinely relaxed rather than logistically fraught.
What stays with you after a visit to The Camellia is the rhythm it encourages. There is no lobby to pass through, no schedule to observe. The pace is entirely your own, shaped by the kitchen counter where you prep a slow breakfast, the rooftop where you read through the afternoon, the living room where the dog stretches out on the floor beside you. It is a residence that trusts its guests to know what rest looks like for them, and then simply makes space for it.

The Camellia feels like it was designed by someone who actually lives in East Nashville and understands the neighborhood's particular blend of creative energy and laid-back warmth. It's a townhome, not a hotel, and that distinction matters — the open living space has the feel of a place where real gatherings happen, where four couples or a group of close friends can spread out across private rooms yet still converge naturally around a kitchen island or a rooftop firepit. Speaking of that rooftop: it's the emotional center of the property, a place where the Nashville skyline becomes your backdrop rather than something you observe from a distance. The whole stay has a quality of being immersed in the city without being consumed by it — East Nashville's eclectic dining and music scene is right outside, but the retreat back feels genuinely restorative.

This place comfortably fit 9 girls for my sister's bachelorette weekend. The location was great as it allowed us to have chill mornings where the early bird girls could do their own activities like walk to grab breakfast or go on a run before we regrouped to do group activities. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were really nice. We also enjoyed the rooftop with fire pit and had a hibachi dinner up there on the final night. Would absolutely recommend for any big group!

Very cute! So much space with so many rooms and a rooftop deck to die for! We did walk to a restaurant nearby for brunch. Great location outside of broadway but still able to get a ride share to go downtown easily.
