Amazing space. Worked great for our large group.

There is a particular kind of house that announces itself not with formality but with a feeling. Gatsby by Fieldtrip is that house. A spacious, design-forward residence built around the twin pursuits of gathering and unwinding, it greets you with the kind of open-plan confidence that makes the best vacation homes feel immediately yours. High ceilings, clean lines, and generous windows establish the architecture as something more intentional than a standard rental, while the furnishings strike a balance between comfort and cool that rewards both lounging and entertaining.
The infinity pool is the property's centerpiece and gravitational pull. It defines the outdoor living experience, offering a place to float, gather, or simply sit at the edge and let the hours soften. The surrounding deck and outdoor spaces extend the livable footprint well beyond the home's interior walls, creating natural zones for morning coffee, afternoon shade, and evening drinks. Inside, the game room adds a second anchor to the property's social identity. Whether it draws your group into competition or simply gives the evening another room to inhabit, it reinforces the sense that this house was designed with togetherness in mind. The kitchen is built for real use, generous enough to accommodate a group cooking together without crowding, while the living areas offer enough room for everyone to spread out when the mood calls for something quieter.
Fieldtrip, the hospitality brand behind Gatsby, curates its portfolio with an eye toward properties that feel elevated without losing their ease. The homes are selected and styled to deliver a sense of place and personality, each one distinct in character. Gatsby leans into its namesake's spirit of spectacle and hospitality, but tempers it with modern restraint. The bedrooms are thoughtfully appointed, offering the kind of restful retreat that a long day by the pool demands, while shared spaces maintain a flow that keeps the house feeling connected rather than compartmentalized.
What stays with you after Gatsby is the rhythm it encourages. Mornings that start slowly by the water. Afternoons that drift between the pool and the game room. Evenings that stretch across the kitchen counter and out onto the deck. It is a house that understands the architecture of a great trip is not about any single moment but about how gracefully one moment gives way to the next.

It's the tension that gets you — unapologetically contemporary architecture set against one of the oldest mountain ranges on earth, and somehow the contrast doesn't clash, it hums. The interiors have that rare quality of feeling both designed and lived-in, where brushed brass and smooth concrete sit alongside soft linen without anyone trying too hard. But it's the infinity pool that rewrites your sense of time entirely, its edge dissolving into the Smoky Mountain treeline in a way that makes the boundary between built and wild feel genuinely irrelevant. You come back from a day on the trails or an evening in Gatlinburg and realize returning to the house is the thing you were actually looking forward to. That's the trick Gatsby pulls off — it makes staying in feel like the more interesting choice.

Beautiful place to stay, and perfect getaway from the city. Great space and sleeping arrangements for our large group, and incredible outdoor areas for entertaining, relaxing and sunning. Also all of us immediately commented on the lovely scent of the bedding on our first night. Will definitely be back again!

Extraordinary space, lots of room, beautiful views, hiking trails within walking distance and Joshua Tree a short, easy drive. We could accommodate the whole family including the dog! Everyone loved the kitchen.

This home was perfect for our two families exploring Joshua Tree during Spring Break. It would also be perfect for an adult getaway. The house is extremely well laid out and the beds were among the most comfortable we've ever experienced. The location was also ideal as the stores and restaurants in Yucca Valley are all <10 minutes away and there are hiking trails accessible directly from the house. <br/>We had a phenomenal experience and would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay in Yucca Valley - the house was stunning and the views were as impressive. Everything we needed was there an easy to find. Would absolutely stay here again.
