This spot was perfect for our group! The tiny houses in the backyard allowed for our group to stay together but each have separate space when needed. A super unique find!

A white-painted farmhouse sits on a residential street in Portland, its front porch and pitched roofline carrying the easy posture of a home that has been here for a long time. Step inside the Restored Farmhouse & Backyard Tiny House Village and the feeling is immediate: someone has taken great care to bring this property back to life without erasing its original character. The interiors are bright and uncluttered, with warm wood floors, vintage furniture, and the kind of natural light that makes every room feel calm and unhurried. It is not a hotel, and it does not pretend to be one. It is a home, restored with intention, and it feels like it.
Beyond the main farmhouse, the backyard opens to reveal something unexpected: a small village of tiny houses, each one its own self-contained retreat. The collection creates a compound-like atmosphere, where a group of friends or a large family can spread out across multiple structures while still sharing a common outdoor space. The tiny houses are thoughtfully designed, making efficient use of their footprint without feeling cramped, and each carries the same aesthetic warmth found in the main residence. Together, the farmhouse and its surrounding cottages offer a flexible arrangement that works equally well for a reunion, a creative gathering, or simply a week spent in good company.
Portland surrounds this property with everything that has made the city a destination in its own right. The neighborhood is walkable and lived-in, close to the independent restaurants, coffee roasters, and shops that define the city's creative identity. From here, the cultural energy of Portland is accessible without ever feeling intrusive. You return at the end of the day to a place that feels genuinely removed from the pace of things, even while sitting squarely within the city.
What stays with you is the scale of it. The Restored Farmhouse & Backyard Tiny House Village is small enough to feel intimate and generous enough to give everyone their own space. Mornings unfold slowly across the shared grounds. Evenings gather naturally in the backyard, between the tiny houses, under open sky. It is the rare kind of place that feels less like a booking and more like borrowing someone's very good life for a few days.

There's something disarming about a place that feels both inherited and intentional — original wooden beams overhead, plush furnishings in earthy tones below, a fireplace that sets the mood before you've even set down your bag. The farmhouse has that quality of a home that's been lived in well and then carefully handed to strangers who'll appreciate it. But what makes this property genuinely unusual is the backyard: a small village of tiny houses, each one its own self-contained world with bespoke details that nod to the Oregon landscape. It's a layout that gives groups the rare gift of togetherness without proximity fatigue. The fire pit after dark, the private garden's quiet — these aren't amenities so much as permissions to slow down. Portland hums just beyond, but here you feel no urgency to leave.

We were in town for the wedding of a family member and had 8 adults and 1 teen in our group. We needed a place with enough rooms and enough bathrooms for all of us and Dalouny’s place was able to meet that need with the addition of the tiny homes.
We had an issue with one of the heating units in the main house and Dalouny was super responsive and got someone out to look at it for us.
I had requested an early check in a few days before we arrived and Dalouny called me the day of check-in, as soon as it was ready.
The tiny homes were well equipped as was the main house. I would recommend this spot for anyone with a larger group with couples who want their own space or just to accommodate more people.
We had a great time while staying there and I do it again if ever back in Portland!

We rented Dalouny’s house along with all 3 tiny homes in the back for a family reunion/Thanksgiving and it was perfect! The elders were able to retreat to their tiny homes while the rest were able to stay up and visit!
Easy walking distance to Se Hawthorne district, SE Clinton area and SE Division all with great restaurants and shops!

Had a great stay at Dalouny's; it was clean and spacious. Great location and walkable to nearby restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
