This spot was perfect for our group! The tiny houses in the backyard allowed for our group to stay together but each have separate space when needed. A super unique find!

The front door belongs to another era. A restored farmhouse rises with the kind of character that only decades of settling and weathering can produce, its bones intact but its interior reimagined for the way people gather now. Step inside the Restored Farmhouse & Backyard Tiny House Village and the scale shifts immediately. This is not a single accommodation but a small compound, a property where a central heritage home anchors a collection of tiny houses scattered across the backyard like a purpose-built village. The effect is part homestead, part creative retreat, a place designed for groups who want proximity without sacrificing privacy.
The farmhouse itself serves as the heart of the property, offering shared living spaces, a full kitchen, and the kind of communal warmth that invites long mornings around the table. Its restoration preserves original architectural details while introducing modern comforts, striking a balance between nostalgic texture and practical ease. The tiny houses in the backyard each function as self-contained sleeping quarters, giving guests their own private space to retreat to when the evening winds down. The arrangement encourages a rhythm that feels rare in traditional accommodations: togetherness when you want it, solitude when you need it. It is an ideal setup for extended families, friend groups, creative collaborations, or milestone celebrations where everyone wants to be close but not on top of one another.
Managed through Stay Portland, the property benefits from a local hospitality approach that prioritizes neighborhood-level immersion. Portland's food culture, independent shops, and creative energy sit just beyond the property's edges, making it easy to spend mornings exploring and afternoons reconvening in the backyard. The outdoor space itself becomes a central character of any stay. With room to spread out under open sky, guests find themselves gravitating to the shared grounds between the tiny houses, a natural gathering point that shifts from morning coffee spot to evening firelight conversation without effort.
What lingers after a stay here is less about any single amenity and more about the geometry of the experience. The farmhouse gives you roots. The tiny houses give you range. And the backyard, that improbable village green, gives you the feeling that you have stumbled into a neighborhood built just for the people you came with.

There's something disarming about a place that feels both inherited and intentional — original wooden beams overhead, plush furnishings in earthy tones below, a fireplace that sets the mood before you've even set down your bag. The farmhouse has that quality of a home that's been lived in well and then carefully handed to strangers who'll appreciate it. But what makes this property genuinely unusual is the backyard: a small village of tiny houses, each one its own self-contained world with bespoke details that nod to the Oregon landscape. It's a layout that gives groups the rare gift of togetherness without proximity fatigue. The fire pit after dark, the private garden's quiet — these aren't amenities so much as permissions to slow down. Portland hums just beyond, but here you feel no urgency to leave.

We were in town for the wedding of a family member and had 8 adults and 1 teen in our group. We needed a place with enough rooms and enough bathrooms for all of us and Dalouny’s place was able to meet that need with the addition of the tiny homes.
We had an issue with one of the heating units in the main house and Dalouny was super responsive and got someone out to look at it for us.
I had requested an early check in a few days before we arrived and Dalouny called me the day of check-in, as soon as it was ready.
The tiny homes were well equipped as was the main house. I would recommend this spot for anyone with a larger group with couples who want their own space or just to accommodate more people.
We had a great time while staying there and I do it again if ever back in Portland!

We rented Dalouny’s house along with all 3 tiny homes in the back for a family reunion/Thanksgiving and it was perfect! The elders were able to retreat to their tiny homes while the rest were able to stay up and visit!
Easy walking distance to Se Hawthorne district, SE Clinton area and SE Division all with great restaurants and shops!

Had a great stay at Dalouny's; it was clean and spacious. Great location and walkable to nearby restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
