What we love about this stay
Take the MOKE out exactly once — to Malibu Pier before 7 a.m., when the surfers are already in the water and the light is still soft and silvery. Then come back and don't leave again. This villa earns its keep after five o'clock, when the terrace fire pit becomes the best seat on the coast. Pour something good, face west, and let the sunset do its work — the colors here hit differently against the Santa Monica Mountains behind you. Skip Nobu for dinner; instead, grab provisions from Malibu Country Mart and cook in. The kitchen's worthy of it, and eating outside with the sound of the Pacific ten steps away is the whole point. This isn't a place to fill your itinerary. It's a place to empty it.

Stunning , jaw-dropping view! We had an amazing time at this gorgeous retreat. Star gazing and watching surfers from the deck, walking the beach, short drive to hike Escondido Falls, stroll to dinner and the grocery store. We even had a celebrity sighting at the local gym (access comes with the rental). Magical, highly recommend.

Loved the place so much ! It was a great spot for our honeymoon. Clean and perfect property! Enjoyed it very much and highly recommended we are already planning on coming back. <br/>Everything we needed and more at the villa the most relaxing week we have had ! Definitely was worth it.

Beautiful location in Malibu where you sleep with waves crashing just below the house. Views from the deck are incredible as it is perched out over the water with a large beach to the left (East). The house was spacious with a well stocked kitchen including multiple sets of various dishes, glasses, and kitchen equipment. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels and also hotel slippers. We also really enjoyed exploring the area in the Moke vehicle which was easy to operate. Plenty of restaurants and retail shops near the house to enjoy. The Stay Awhile team was also very responsive when we were checking in and out and didn't even need to chat with them on any issues or questions throughout the stay as the info provided covered almost everything. Note that the beach area below is rocky, but you can either walk to the large sandy beach area to the left if the tide is low enough or find a small spot to the right on the small public beach assess. Would definitely book this place again.

This was my third stay at this property and it remains one of my favorites. Incredible location on the water, beautiful furniture, and everything you need for a peaceful vacation. Stay Awhile which manage this property are always great to deal with as well.

It was gorgeous and peaceful. And all that was in the description. Think it might have been a little pricy for a winter weekend especially after the fires. But overall gorgeous and peaceful and what the dr ordered.
