Great stay!

There is a particular pleasure in opening the door to a space that feels both curated and lived-in, where textured layers of warmth greet you before you've set down your bag. Boho Charm is a one-bedroom residence in Portland managed by Stay Portland, styled with an eclectic sensibility that leans into natural materials, layered textiles, and a palette that feels at once grounded and inviting. It is the kind of place that doesn't try to impress so much as welcome, where every corner suggests someone with good taste simply decided to make themselves at home.
The space is designed for comfort at a human scale. A well-appointed bedroom anchors the layout, while shared living areas offer enough room to settle in for a long weekend or an extended stay without feeling constrained. The kitchen is equipped for those mornings when you'd rather brew your own coffee and cook something simple than rush out the door, though the temptation to do just that is considerable given the walkability of the surrounding neighborhood. Dining options and coffee shops sit within easy reach on foot, a detail that quietly shapes the rhythm of your days here. You wake, you wander, you return.
Portland's appeal has always been its texture, the way independent restaurants, roasters, and neighborhood bars cluster along walkable streets with a casualness that feels genuine rather than staged. This residence places you within that fabric rather than adjacent to it. There are no resort gates or lobby rituals between you and the city. You step outside and you're already part of it, moving at whatever pace the day invites.
What stays with you about a place like Boho Charm is not any single dramatic gesture but the accumulated ease of mornings without an agenda, afternoons spent exploring on foot, and evenings returning to a space that feels unmistakably yours. It is Portland distilled into a personal register, intimate and unhurried, with just enough character to remind you that the best travel often feels less like escape and more like belonging somewhere new.

There's a particular kind of stay that doesn't announce itself — it just fits. This apartment on the edge of Ladd's Addition has that quality, a bohemian warmth built from earthy tones, rich textures, and artisanal details that feel collected rather than decorated. It's the kind of place that borrows its personality from Portland's creative spirit without performing it. What grounds the experience is the neighborhood itself: the unusual radial streets, the rose gardens, the proximity to Hawthorne and Division — corridors where the city's culinary ambition is most concentrated and most casual. You're close to everything worth tasting, yet the apartment remains a genuine retreat, light-filled and unhurried. It suits the traveler who wants to eat very well, walk slowly, and return to something that feels personal rather than polished.

The perfect place for my short stay! The check-in/out process was easy and if I needed help the host was very responsive. Loved the cozy space and walkability of the area.

We had such a great stay! The neighborhood is super walkable and beautiful. We walked less than half a mile to a coffee shop and went on runs in the area in the mornings. I’d highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Portland for a couple days!
