Great house, great area.

Some houses rent you a place to sleep. This one gives you a reason to stay put. A spacious five-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath residence managed by Stay Portland, the property opens up with the kind of generous proportions that make group travel feel effortless rather than negotiated. There is room here to spread out, to claim a corner, to disappear for an hour and then reconvene without anyone feeling cramped. The layout favors both togetherness and independence, a quality that separates a true gathering house from a property that simply fits everyone under one roof.
The common spaces are where the personality lives. A dedicated arcade area brings an unexpected playfulness to the house, the kind of detail that shifts the energy of a trip from formal to familiar within the first hour. A pool table and ping pong table round out the entertainment offerings, giving the home a recreation-forward character that works equally well for family reunions, friend getaways, or small team retreats. Work-from-home desks are stationed throughout the property, making extended stays and remote work arrangements practical rather than improvised. You can take a call in one room, finish a project in another, and rejoin the group without ever leaving the house.
Each of the five bedrooms is designed for comfortable rest after full days, and the three-and-a-half bathrooms keep mornings running smoothly even with a full house. The property is configured for groups who want both the space of a large home and the kind of amenities that keep everyone entertained without the need to leave. It is a residence that earns its size, filling every room with something worth using rather than empty square footage.
What stays with you is the rhythm of a house that encourages lingering. Mornings at one of the work desks with coffee. Afternoons bent over the pool table or locked into a ping pong rally that lasts longer than anyone planned. Evenings gathered in shared spaces where the day's stories collect. This is a home that understands why groups travel together in the first place, and it gives that impulse the room it deserves.

What strikes you first isn't the size—though five bedrooms with king beds is generous by any measure—it's the spirit of the place, which leans more toward communal living than polished hospitality. There's a game room with pool, ping pong, and arcade classics that feels genuinely lived-in, the kind of space where competitive streaks emerge and inside jokes get born. The chef's kitchen anchors the whole house socially, built for real cooking rather than reheating takeout, and the dining area beside it shifts naturally from lively group dinners to quiet solo mornings. Southeast Portland's walkable cafe culture and neighborhood shops sit right outside, which gives the stay a rootedness that most large-group rentals lack. It's a house that rewards togetherness without forcing it.

The stay was great. Loved the ambience and sign of Portland as you enter the house. Nice to have a driveway as there is usually only street parking around. The home was comfortable and the beds were all king size which accommodated the couples we had. Would definitely stay again when we visit back.

Super spacious and clean house in a very walkable neighborhood - plenty of good eats and coffee spots nearly. Central enough as well for quick rideshare trips to other areas of PDX. The arcade games, convertible pool/ping pong table and lounging areas were a must. Would definitely recommend for multiple families or a friends trip.
