SE Division is a neighborhood you eat your way through, and this place drops you right in the thick of it. Morning move: skip brewing coffee in the kitchen and walk to either Either/Or or Woodsman Market for something better than you'd make yourself. The front bedroom catches the best morning light—claim that one. Evenings, grab a bottle from Division Wine Co. a few blocks up and drink it on the couch with the windows cracked; the street hum at dusk here is oddly perfect. Don't bother with rideshares—the 98 WalkScore is real, and half the charm is stumbling into places you weren't planning on. Stock the fridge from People's Food Co-op rather than a chain; it's close and the prepared foods are genuinely good for a lazy night in. Done right, this stay feels less like visiting Portland and more like borrowing someone's very well-located life.

Cute little place, was prefect for the three of us. Close to downtown and bars/restaurants on east side of river.
The neighborhood leaves a little to be desired, there is a small but still present homeless population nearby, and we were greeted with an RV on fire right next to the house upon arrival, but didn't have any issues after that...

Location was what we needed - close to a venue for a show but that was about it - I have never left a bad review anywhere, perhaps it’s because I’m traveling with kids now but several things stood out that were not reasonable given the 266 I paid for the night.
The unit needs maintenance - so much dust, uncovered rough side on stairs, no extra bedding at all, no extractor for kitchen, mold on wall by entrance. It just felt like items were thrown in to call it good - no intention behind the guest experience - including utilizing a third party app for check in although message was sent as back up through Airbnb - overall lots of work needed to match the price charged for one night

Other than the place being clean on the inside, the outside was an area to be concerned about. A burnt rv in front of location, along with the train tracks that were no more than 100 feet away. You can’t park around because you need a permit. So you need to park 4 blocks away! . The host was very nice and responsive. It I wouldn’t book again.
