had a great stay! (:

There is a particular charm to a place that announces itself quietly. Little Dutch Cabin #101 sits with the unpretentious warmth of a well-loved story, its exterior hinting at European cottage sensibilities while its interior unfolds with a modern, deliberately comfortable hand. The architecture carries a Dutch-inspired character, compact and inviting, with clean lines softened by warm textures and a design philosophy that prioritizes lived-in comfort over ornamentation. You notice it the moment you step inside: this is a home meant to be used, not merely admired.
The cabin sleeps guests across thoughtfully arranged accommodations, with interiors that balance rustic touches against contemporary finishes. A soaker tub stands as one of the property's quiet signatures, the kind of detail that shifts the pace of an evening from ordinary to unhurried. The kitchen is equipped for real cooking, stocked with the essentials that make preparing a meal feel less like a chore and more like part of the experience. Throughout the living spaces, natural light and considered furnishings create rooms that feel both spacious and intimate, a balance that smaller properties rarely achieve this well.
Outdoors, the property extends the invitation to linger. A dedicated pickleball court brings an unexpected energy to the grounds, offering something active and social for guests inclined to move between moments of rest. The outdoor spaces encourage gathering, whether around an evening fire or across a lazy morning coffee on the porch. It is this interplay between stillness and play that gives Little Dutch Cabin #101 its particular rhythm. The property sits within a short drive of Magnolia and Baylor University, placing it in comfortable reach of the shopping, dining, and cultural landmarks that define the surrounding area without being swallowed by them.
What stays with you is the proportionality of the experience. Nothing here overreaches. The soaker tub does not pretend to be a spa. The pickleball court does not pretend to be a resort amenity. The cabin does not pretend to be anything other than what it is: a place designed for a specific kind of getaway, one where the days are shaped by your own preferences rather than a programmed itinerary. You leave Little Dutch Cabin #101 with the feeling of having been somewhere genuinely considered, a place where every detail was chosen not to impress, but to make your time there feel distinctly, comfortably yours.

There's something unexpectedly disarming about a tiny home that doesn't feel tiny—where Dutch design sensibility meets the unhurried warmth of Texas hill country, and the result is a space that feels both considered and completely relaxed. Nestled in a pecan grove just outside Waco, this stucco cabin has the quiet confidence of a place built by someone who actually thought about how people rest. The freestanding soaker tub isn't a luxury checkbox; it reads more like a gentle suggestion that your evening has no agenda. It's the kind of stay that suits people who want proximity to a city but crave the particular stillness that only comes from being surrounded by trees and open air.

My stay was just right! The house was perfect….just as described, roomy and there was a sense of order and neatness that made a peaceful environment. I needed a place close to Heritage and it was right next door. I highly recommend !

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was truly breathtaking! It was even more beautiful than the pictures! They provided extra toiletries and everything else you would need! Waco Waffle Co is just in walking distance and it’s a must try!! We would 1000% stay here again!
