Very comfortable and clean and wonderful location

Some Park City stays position you above the town, angled toward ski runs or tucked into a ridgeline subdivision. Abode at the Park takes a different approach entirely. Set just blocks from Historic Main Street, this private residence drops you into the walkable center of one of the West's most compelling mountain towns. The location is the defining gesture here: a year-round home where the trails, restaurants, galleries, and lift-served skiing that define Park City life aren't a drive away but a short stroll through the neighborhood.
The home itself is designed for groups and families who want to live together comfortably rather than retreat to separate corners. Spacious common areas anchor the layout, giving guests room to gather after a day on the mountain or an afternoon exploring the local food scene. The kitchen is built for real use, outfitted for those who prefer cooking in to dining out on at least a few evenings. Bedrooms are configured to accommodate multiple guests with enough separation that the house feels generous rather than crowded. It's a residence that functions the way a well-planned trip should: flexible enough for different rhythms, structured enough that nothing feels improvised.
Park City rewards proximity. In winter, the town transforms into one of Utah's premier ski destinations, with both Park City Mountain and Deer Valley minutes away. In summer, the same terrain opens up to hikers and mountain bikers, with trail networks accessible almost immediately from the property's location. Historic Main Street offers a concentrated stretch of independent restaurants, boutiques, and galleries that feel distinctly local rather than resort-generic. The Sundance Film Festival, seasonal farmers markets, and a robust calendar of cultural programming give the town texture well beyond its reputation as a ski destination. Being blocks away from the center of that life means you spend less time in a car and more time actually in the place you came to experience.
Abode at the Park belongs to a broader collection of curated Park City properties managed by Abode, a local hospitality company with deep knowledge of the area. That means the home comes with the kind of local insight and operational support that elevates a rental into something more considered. Stocking services, concierge recommendations, and seamless logistics are part of the package. What stays with you, though, is simpler than any amenity list: the feeling of stepping out the front door and being immediately, effortlessly part of Park City's daily rhythm, whether that means first tracks in January or a late-summer evening walk back from dinner on Main Street.

There's something disarming about a home that started as a 1925 miner's cottage and now holds deep-cushioned leather sofas and a kitchen built around a gas range that actually makes you want to cook. The renovation didn't erase the history—it folded it into something warmer, less performative than most mountain rentals. You feel the scale of it immediately: intimate enough for real conversation, spacious enough that nobody's on top of each other. The master bedroom faces Park City Mountain Resort directly, which grounds you in exactly where you are. And the fenced yard backing onto City Park gives the whole place a neighborly, lived-in quality that most vacation homes can't manufacture. It suits people who want proximity to Main Street and the slopes without staying somewhere that feels transient.

This house was amazing! Everything was high end and in great shape. The location was perfect, a very short walk to town. The communication with Abode Properties went above and beyond anything I have every experience when booking a vacation rental.

We absolutely loved this property! The locations is excellent. We walked downtown, to the slopes and to the grocery store. Storing our skis in a locker at the base of the mountain allowed us a very easy walk up the hill every day to ski. The kitchen was very well equipped with tools and spices and fun to cook in. The hot tub was perfect every day after skiing. The communication was easy and helpful. The mattresses were very comfortable and the showers hot with good water pressure. We will be back as it is going to take us years to ski this mountain!
