The cutest house in Waco! Great location, even better hosts!

There is something immediately disarming about a Tudor bungalow. The steeply pitched roofline, the textured interplay of stucco and dark trim, the sense that the home has been here long enough to have settled into its own quiet confidence. The Charming Tudor Bungalow in Waco greets you this way, with architectural character that feels both storied and personal, a residence that invites you to slow your pace from the moment you step through the door.
Inside, the home unfolds with a warmth that feels genuinely lived-in rather than staged. The layout offers comfortable spaces for gathering and retreating in equal measure, with a fully equipped kitchen that makes morning coffee and unhurried evening meals feel like natural extensions of the day. Bedding is thoughtfully prepared, and the interiors carry a sense of care that suggests someone has considered how a guest actually moves through a home, not just how it photographs. This is a place designed for real stays, whether you are settling in for a long weekend or using Waco as a home base for wider exploration.
The outdoor space extends the experience beyond the bungalow's walls. Time here tends to organize itself around simple pleasures: reading on the porch in the late afternoon light, stepping outside to feel the shift from warm days to cooler evenings, letting conversation stretch without agenda. The neighborhood carries the kind of residential calm that makes you feel less like a visitor and more like a temporary local.
Waco itself has evolved into a destination with genuine texture. The city's mix of local shops, restaurants, and cultural landmarks rewards those willing to explore beyond any single attraction. The Brazos River threads through the landscape, and the surrounding area offers green spaces and trails that ground the experience in something distinctly Central Texan. The Charming Tudor Bungalow in Waco positions you within easy reach of it all while offering the kind of private, self-contained retreat that hotels rarely replicate. You return at the end of each day not to a room, but to a home, one with enough personality to feel like a character in the story of your trip rather than just a backdrop.

There's something about a house that's nearly a century old and still knows exactly what it's doing. This 1927 Tudor bungalow in Waco doesn't try to be anything other than what it is — original hardwood floors that creak with history, antique décor that feels collected rather than staged, and rooms filled with enough natural light to make the whole place feel unhurried. It's the kind of home where a breakfast nook and a formal dining room coexist without pretension, where vintage character hasn't been sanded away in the name of renovation. You come here with your people — family, old friends — and the house quietly accommodates the mess and warmth of togetherness. It's a stay that lingers not because of what it offers, but because of how settled it makes you feel.

I would definitely stay again and tell others that if you needed a place to stay in the Waco area for a 2 bedroom you couldn’t go wrong. And if you have kids they’d love the bunk beds .
When we return to Waco I’ll definitely check to see the availability of this listing.
Matt & Samantha checked on us to see if we needed anything (caring hosts wanting to be there for any needs)
