Upstairs, the primary suite boasts a king bed, a gas fireplace, and expansive lake views, while the bunk room provides two full-size beds and a cozy seating area.

What we love about this stay
Take the primary suite upstairs — the king bed faces the lake, and with the gas fireplace low and the windows cracked, the sound of Lake Michigan at night is something you won't forget. Mornings here are the real draw: make coffee in that beautifully stocked kitchen and carry it straight out to the patio before anyone else is up. The light on the water around 7 a.m. is flat silver and completely still. Evening-wise, skip going out — fire up the built-in pit at dusk, get the hot tub running, and let the shoreline do the work. Stock up on wine before you arrive; there's nothing nearby and you won't want to leave once you settle in. This place rewards stillness more than activity.

There are too many amazing qualities to list! The home itself is stunning, endless views from every window, beautiful furnishings, and everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed our walks to the beach and took many of the host’s recommendations for dining and site seeing. We hope to be back next year!

The location is to die for and not many better things than sitting in the hot tub amidst sounds of waves….probably the most accommodating host we have experienced… our party had a couple folks not feeling the best and she was the most understanding and flexible to accommodate the uncertainty it brought about! We went ahead as planned and so glad we did! Tastefully remodeled property with good quality finishes! Italian oven stove n everything! If you’ve spent enough time to read this review - don’t think just go here, you’ll love it!

My stay at the Asher was incredible. Such a peaceful spot with amazing views. Absolutely love that it’s dog friendly so we didn’t have the stress of finding a sitter! The welcome guide provided us with tons of great recommendations. Sara even had fresh baked apple cider donuts in the kitchen for us when we arrived. She really thought of all the little things to make the stay magical. Would definitely stay again!

Sara’s house is absolutely stunning. One of the rare instances that the pictures didn’t even truly do it justice. It is such a calming oasis and Sara was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Would absolutely stay there again!!
