The approach to Habibi · Luxury Glamping Treetop Dome + Dip Pool feels like a gradual departure from the familiar. The path narrows, the canopy thickens, and then the structure appears: a geodesic dome elevated among the trees, its transparent panels framing the surrounding greenery like a living mural. This is glamping distilled to its most considered form, where the rawness of sleeping outdoors meets a level of comfort and design intention that feels genuinely luxurious rather than merely themed. The dome sits at treetop height, giving guests the rare sensation of being suspended within the forest rather than simply adjacent to it.
Inside, the space is open and intentionally minimal, letting the setting do the work. The bed faces outward toward the canopy, and natural light moves through the dome walls throughout the day, shifting the mood from golden morning warmth to the cool blue of evening. Furnishings are carefully chosen to feel organic to the environment without sacrificing comfort. Textiles are soft and layered. The design resists clutter, allowing the geometry of the dome itself and the panorama of branches and sky to define the atmosphere. It is a space built for stillness and attention, for mornings that begin slowly and evenings that linger.
The private dip pool is perhaps the property's most defining feature beyond the dome itself. Set on the outdoor deck, it offers a place to cool off while remaining immersed in the treetop setting. The deck extends the living space outward, functioning as an open-air room where meals can be taken, books can be read, and hours can pass without agenda. The combination of elevated seclusion, open sky, and water creates a rhythm that is difficult to replicate in a traditional accommodation. There is a simplicity here that feels deliberate and earned.
Habibi is not a resort with a long list of programmed diversions. It is a single, thoughtfully composed experience: one dome, one pool, one canopy. The pleasure of staying here lies in the reduction, the way the property strips away everything unnecessary and leaves only the essentials of a great escape. You wake among the trees, swim beneath the sky, and fall asleep watching the stars through the transparent walls of your dome. The name itself, an Arabic term of endearment meaning 'my love,' hints at the intimacy of the experience. This is a place designed for two, built for the kind of quiet togetherness that larger properties rarely accommodate. What stays with you after Habibi is not a list of amenities but a feeling: the particular peace of having been somewhere small, beautiful, and completely your own.

There's something genuinely disorienting — in the best way — about Moroccan-inspired textiles and intricate patterns living inside a geodesic dome suspended above Texas Hill Country. It shouldn't work, but it does, precisely because the whole thing commits so fully to its own odd poetry. You're in a treetop, surrounded by forest canopy, with a plunge pool on your deck and mini cows somewhere below. The transparent walls dissolve the boundary between shelter and sky, and evenings turn the deck into something close to a private observatory. It's a place built for people who want their solitude to feel a little fantastical — not polished resort quiet, but the kind of stillness where distant wildlife and rustling leaves become the only soundtrack. The whimsy never tips into kitsch, and the remoteness never feels like sacrifice.

The stay is very unique and beautiful. Definitely a place if you want to unplug completely because cell service and wifi and VERY limited as stated in the listing. With that being said its best to plan to arrive before dark. I was lost for a good half hour since I had no service and could not see the address on the mailbox. Once inside I was in heaven! This is not one of those places you stay one night and leave. Give yourself a couple night at least if you can. I will certainly book again!
