What we love about this stay
Claim the master suite — it's the only bedroom with that spa-grade en-suite, and after a day on Charleston's cobblestones, you'll want it. But the real reason to book this house is the rooftop. Get up there around golden hour with something cold and watch the church steeples catch the last light; it's the kind of Charleston moment you can't get from a hotel bar. Stock the kitchen from the Saturday farmers market on Marion Square — it's a short walk and the produce is exceptional. Skip driving to King Street; you're close enough that walking is half the pleasure. The house sleeps six comfortably without anyone feeling stacked, which makes it ideal for a long weekend with people you actually like.

Our stay at Felix was exceptional. It is the cutest house we can’t wait to come back! Felix Street is quiet and tucked away. It’s lined with cute historic homes and the location is very convenient and walkable to everything. The 3 balconies - 1 off the living room and 2 of the bedrooms were so nice, we sat outside to have coffee and wine. Nice sunset view from the roof deck! The driveway was key as we did have a car but we walked everywhere. The house is a short walk to King Street for shopping and restaurants. We got bagels and ice coffees from Holey City Bagel right around the corner. Babas on Cannon and Idle Hands Coffee House were our go-to coffee spots. We had dinner at The Darling Oyster Bar and Halls which are less than 10 minutes walking. The management company was great with check-in and communication. Beds were super comfortable and had hotel quality sheets. Lots of towels for everyone and nice bath products. Highly recommend Felix we will be back for our next trip!

We enjoyed our stay at the Retreat at Felix! The home was spotless, very relaxing and quiet! It was very close to excellent restaurants and activities. The layout of the home was perfect for our family. It was very convenient to have the driveway and not worry about finding parking. Highly recommend!

We had an exceptional stay at The Retreat at Felix! This place is an excellent value for the price. It is located in a prime downtown historic area with easy access to everything you need. The stylish decor made it feel like a home away from home.<br/>Communication with the host was seamless. They responded quickly to all my queries and were incredibly helpful with recommendations throughout our stay. The property was spotless, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness that I really appreciated.<br/>One of the best parts about staying here was the close proximity to King Street, where you’ll find a plethora of restaurants and cafes. I particularly enjoyed dining at Southbound, which is just a half a block away, and 167 Raw Oyster Bar, which is within walking distance as well. Both offered delicious food and a great atmosphere.<br/>Overall, The Retreat at Felix is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to stay in the area. Highly recommended!

This stay was absolutely wonderful! The home was so close to king street and everywhere we wanted to go to. The home itself had the classic downtown Charleston feel and was very comfortable. The team was super responsive to any questions or concerns I had and I definitely would recommend staying here or booking through this company.
