Gorgeous place! It totally met our needs for a local event. Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed and then some. Nancy was super to communicate with. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Taylor Place sits on a quiet residential street in Waco, Texas, close enough to the cultural pulse of downtown that you can feel its energy, yet set back just far enough to offer the kind of stillness that makes a getaway feel genuine. This is a home in the truest sense, a carefully appointed residence designed for guests who want to experience Waco not from behind hotel curtains but from the comfort of a real neighborhood, with a front porch, a full kitchen, and the kind of easy, unhurried pace that this stretch of Central Texas does so well.
The interior is warm and intentional, blending modern comforts with a sense of lived-in character that avoids feeling staged. You will find comfortable sleeping arrangements, a well-equipped kitchen for morning coffee or a proper home-cooked meal, and gathering spaces that invite long conversations and slow evenings. The layout encourages togetherness without crowding, making it well suited for couples, families, or small groups traveling together. Thoughtful touches throughout the home suggest a host who understands what travelers actually need: reliable Wi-Fi, clean linens, practical kitchenware, and the kind of quiet that lets you sleep past sunrise without apology.
Location is the defining advantage here. Taylor Place is just minutes from both Magnolia Market at the Silos and the Baylor University campus, two of Waco's most visited landmarks. The Silos district, with its food trucks, shopping, and garden spaces, anchors one end of the downtown experience, while Baylor's tree-lined campus and the nearby Brazos River trails offer a different rhythm entirely. Between the two, you will find a growing number of local restaurants, coffee shops, and small businesses that have helped reshape Waco's identity over the past decade. The property's proximity to all of this means you can leave the car parked and explore on foot, returning to the house whenever the afternoon heat or your own curiosity calls you back.
What stays with you after a visit to Taylor Place is not any single detail but the overall ease of the experience. There is something quietly restorative about waking up in a real home in an unfamiliar city, making breakfast at your own pace, and stepping outside into a neighborhood that feels both welcoming and wonderfully unperformative. This is Waco at its most approachable, and Taylor Place is the kind of base that lets you enjoy it without distraction.

There's a particular kind of comfort that comes from a place built with intention rather than history — where everything is new but nothing feels cold. Taylor Place has that quality. It's a three-bedroom home in the middle of Waco that manages to feel both generous in scale and genuinely warm, with natural light doing most of the heavy lifting across artisanal finishes and considered interiors. It's the kind of property that suits a small group or family who wants proximity to the Magnolia Silos and Baylor without sacrificing the quiet of a real neighborhood. The backyard, simple and unhurried, is where the stay lingers in memory — mild Texas evenings have a way of stretching time.

Very easy access to I-35 and multiple routes to the house to avoid traffic. Very close to Baylor and downtown. Would definitely recommend.

The house was cute and comfortable with everything we needed. Nancy was so friendly and easy to work with. The location was convenient to our activities on Baylor's campus. We will be back!
